In July 2026, we travelled to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimajaro via the Machame Route.
We came for the summit. But along the way, we realised that the mountain was only part of the story.
This film is about the people who make the journey possible, our guides, porters and cook. From the first steps through the rainforest, to the long nights at altitude and the final push to Uhuru peak, we got to know the people behind the mountain.
