It's going to be like a freezer in Winter, you need to insulate the truck bed walls, tail gate and the truck bed floor, otherwise cold will get through the metal, even if you have a diesel heater, it won't be that effective.

This looks like the dude mavs setup on his truck

I woulda just threw a futon in there with some organizing bins and called it a day haha

I would try a possible dumb/genius idea of building foam insulation for the windows that is on magnets so you can cover it up at night but is removable if you want to be able to look outside. Awesome build so far!

use that carpet to cover the gap between the tailgate and the box.

Alright Justin Bieber, didn't know you make stealth campers

You need to insulate, some thermo liner would be the best, it’s a vapour barrier and insulation, means you won’t really lose any space as it’s stick on.

You will freeze in the winter with no insulation as you have nothing to stop the metal getting cold.

This seems virtually identical to Mav's truck build with the flip up top. Keep the content going !

One little suggestion I have just for safety, is in that stove cubby drawer, lining it with thin metal sheeting on side and top especially. Would help it from catching fire on that freshly stained wood if there happened to be a big flame up or anything

The part where you were brushing your teeth sent me idk why 😂😂 this is actually a fire build tho the carpet looks really nice

The drawing that Zyan did was amazing. The cutouts you did were money. If you’re planning to do some camping in some weather please insulate and put you a hole for the diesel heater. You did a great job on that, we’re getting some serious ideas for us to do a build as well. Great video, God bless!
