Props to Capt. Hook for being such a hardcore survivalist that he literally escaped being eaten by a crocodile AFTER being fully consumed by said crocodile not once but SEVERAL times. Props also to the crocodile for never getting discouraged and just doing what he loved with a grin and a positive attitude 😂😂

I always felt bad for Wendy in this movie because she was so excited to meet the mermaids only for them to mistreat her due to jealousy of being around Peter who just laughed at the whole thing and excused them trying to drown her with, “You see?” Like HUH?! What do you mean, “You see?!”

This is officially the oldest movie that the crew has ever reacted to. 73 years old, released in 1953.

Captain Hook skipping on the water like a stone while his screams for cutting out was hilarious. Everyone’s reactions were hilarious throughout. This movie is hella unhinged

"SMEEE..EEE...EEE...EEE...EEE!"

I watched this movie for the first time ever with the crew, so that final Hook scene took me way off guard and made me die of laughter lol. Way ahead of it's time.

A moment of respect for Peter Pan’s voice actor Bobby Driscoll. He deserved better than what Disney did for him.

I love this movie but I can’t look at it the same way after what I learned happened to Peter Pan’s VA, Bobby Driscoll. Disney straight up fired him cause he had acne and was going thru puberty which led him to obscurity and excessive drug use. He ended up dying in an abandoned alley alone and even after, his body wasn’t even identified for a few days. And then Disney just decided to use his story as the basis for Peter Pan becoming a villain in Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers (2021)

Did you know that Wendy’s voice actor, Kathryn Beaumont, also voice Alice(1951) from Alice in Wonderland? She was around 15 years old when she voiced Wendy in Peter Pan.

In the original story of Peter Pan, Nana the family dog was a breed known as a Newfoundland. A breed of dog that has originated from Canada, at the time was a member of the British Commonwealth. But Disney changed it to a St. Bernard a Swiss breed, because it was more recognizable. Why they called her Nana, because she was a specially trained dog known as a nanny dog. These dogs looked after the kids when the parents weren't around.

"If it hadn't been for Tink..." he meant that as in if she hadn't intervened he woulda been blown up. So he WAS acknowledging her efforts here

Now you have to watch all of the Tinkerbell movies, peak cinema.

Fun fact: Years after this movie, they made a preschool spinoff series called Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Peter, Hook, Smee and the Darling siblings are in it

The slapstick comedy between Hook and the crocodile is one of the best ever! The sound he makes skimming at the end is hilarious and has me laughing every time!  🪝🐊😂

SMEE - EE - EE - EE - EEE!!🤣🤣🤣

24:14 In a subversion of the normal trend with Disney sequels from that time, Return to Neverland is arguably more dark than the original, considering when it takes place.

24:24 where my Pixie Hollow gang at!

Im 40 going on 41 and my daughter is 17...we STILL laugh like kids at the times Hook and Croc have their bouts. That last "SMEE..EEE..EEE..EEE..EEE" ALWAYS gets my daughter laughing like she is 5 years old again. And we don't feel ANY shame in it whatsoever! The Slapstick comedy in this movie is SOOOOOO underappreciated!!!

Me and some friends got blitzed watching this once and no lie, that "SMEEEEEE!" when he almost get's eaten in the cave made us laugh for about a week, just remembering it over and over. This is one of the funniest Disney movies, whether intentional or unintentional. 😆

The 2003 Live Action Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs is one of my favourites, the music is amazing and the sets are gorgeous.

Oh hey I totally forgot that in Batman Arkham Asylum when Killer Croc says "tick tock feed the croc", it was a reference to Peter Pan

31:46 That Goofy yell, though.
