With each iteration Sheo further devolves from a “deeply philosophical eldritch god” to “random quirk chungus”

He didn't say "cheesed to meet you" literally unplayable.

Everyone remembers "Cheese for everyone!" Nobody remembers "Wait, scratch that, cheese for no-one."

Maybe Sheogorath’s writing is just so meta it’s driving you insane irl lol

My favorite part was when Sheogorath said "Cheesus Christ." And then winked at the camera before farting.

If you imagine that Sheogorath knows so little of the mortal anatomy that he forgot to add a brain in this flesh puppet he's wearing, then the writing still sucks big time.

This entire questline feels like a skyrim mod from 2013.

From the prince of madness to the prince of reddit

At this point Sheogorath’s TES 6 mission is gonna need to be a horror mission for him to get his aura back.

he's so 2010's tumblr coded, i feel like spiritually he has a mustache tattoo on his finger

They changed the gentleman with a cane to an idiot with a stick.

The people making the game not understanding the difference between Daedra and Dremora is probably the most madness inducing part of this entire questline 🤯

Sheogorath learning what mortal hunger is, when he has a literal classification of Daedra in his realm called "HUNGER" is wild.

Sheogorath "going on vacation" should be like the dream parade from Paprika. Just a cacophony of nonsense that makes everyone want to kill themselves.

I think some of the responses to this questline really shows why flanderization ends up happening. I've seen multiple people and threads talking about how this is actually one of the best quest lines in years and that the writers should get a raise for it. I think there is actually a decently large group of people who don't care about the integrity of the character as long as they get to hear a "Haha funny cheese line!" and companies see that as a quick and easy way to make money.

I get so tired.. Sheogorath is the prince of Madness, sure.. but he's also the prince of creativity and art.
And the questline was neither creative nor madness-inducing.

Same guy who spent his first like four thousand years of existence torturing butterflies by ripping their wings off btw

Every moment spent with Sheogorath should be terrifying. You will find love from Azura if you praise and revere her. You need fear nothing from Meirida if you remain pure. You can even find Boethiah's favor if you devote yourself to a life of murder. You will never be safe from Sheogorath. There is nothing you can do to ensure that in the next moment, he will not value your existence more as a sentient, screaming, tortured teapot than as a person if it should serve his whims. He will do whatever he is inclined to do, at all times. You are nothing but clay in his eyes, and he should not be in any way averse to informing you as such. Boethiah might stab you through the heart for fun, and because she delights in it. Sheogorath will turn you inside out if he feels he has no reason not to. He's a force of nature.

We did it, guys. WE GOT AN EPIC BACON MOMENT!

The biggest problem with this "Sheogorath" is that he is literally just a guy, not a mad hod in a mortal body, not a madman, just a guy
