Nick watches seasame street while alternately dry firing a pistol at the TV and his own head.

It’s so adorable that Nick is at his most sincere when he’s enraged at the loss of integrity in baby shows

Elmo's dad looks like he owns a failing bar and grill in San Bernardino

The idea of Elmo’s dad living with a “music partner” for 25 years without Elmo understanding what is going on is absolutely hysterical

nick not responding to adams question of how long its been since he stopped watching seaseme street is very damning

Elmo’s dad explaining the Black Lives Matter riots to Elmo over a zoom call is the dystopian future I didn’t even realize we were living in

the way Nick says "who the fuck is Baby David?" gets me every time.

As a kid I always assumed Elmo was an adult. He lived with his goldfish by himself in a New York city apartment. Always assumed he was just like a bachelor. To find out he's supposed to be a child ruins me.

Elmo staring lifelessly on the zoom call with a shitty greenscreen background and reflected computer light is the only funny thing about that episode

then we finally see a picture of Nick's dad and it looks exactly like Elmo's dad and the mystery of why Nick is so pissed off is solved.

Why is it really easy to imagine Oscar the Grouch making the racist crank calls

@JulesS6614 3 years ago

Elmos dad saw George Floyd die and said "Its time to come back from the store."

Nick's description of Telly as an "old school alcoholic, nothing romantic about it" is pretty much me.

We’re all in agreement that Oscar sent that phone call, right?

Nick in this is radiating absolutley unprecedented levels of 'Resentful child of divorce' energy, it's hilarious.

I remember seeing Elmo's dad for the first time and thinking, "Why does he look like he works at Guitar Center and plays in a classic rock tribute band"?

@janberkemeier7406 3 years ago

"He's as oblivious to racism as he is about his own, disheveled state. And that's what's beautiful about him."
Jesus Nick, you sound like my probation officer
