Studying 16 hours a day? I can barely study for 30 minutes without a 1 hour break every 5 minutes.

Mad respect to Chinese students, they're so dedicated and hardworking. Whenever I don't feel like studying, I just watch these chinese students vlogs and seeing them study so much motivates me to do the same (it doesn't work always however😅😅)

I am studying these days 18 hours a day  for my A/L (ADVANCE LEVEL )Exam ,Its is  our country University entrance Exam (🇱🇰 sri lanka)I  Choose Hard subjects Maths ,Physics and Chmistry ,  its very competitve get best university(top 2-5%)My exam starting day is August  10) Wish me , I wish All of you winning your goals, Hard work for achieved it 💪💪🫰

I am also an jee aspirant but i only manage to study about 12-14 hours in a day salute to Daniel that he can do 16hrs a day

I'm a 12-year-old Chinese kid，We need to study 9 hours a day, not including time for doing homework. We usually get up around 6 in the morning and go to bed at 10:30 at night😂

I’m 20 now, and I live with my two little sisters in a small slum area. I lost my parents when I was 15, so I had to start working as a waitress and take responsibility for myself and my sisters. I also help pay for their school and tuition.
I take online classes and usually try to study around 10 hours, but sometimes work leaves me with very little time. There are days when I study at night and get only about 2 hours of sleep. It’s definitely not easy, but I’m still trying my best. ❤️
And honestly, how do you study for 16 hours?! 😭 Hands off to you! I genuinely admire your dedication. 🫂❤️ Keep going—you’re doing amazing!

This is crazy! When I looked at the study hours of this Chinese child and the educational system in China and compared it to our educational system in Algeria I felt ashamed of myself as I barely study for an hour a day

As a Chinese, I moved to Canada when I was 13 years old, the time I finished elementary school back in China. I will say I am glad to be in Canada rather than suffer in the Chinese school system. Not to be meaningful or negative, I really don't think the Chinese school system is good for either health or real studying. Like GaoKao, for your whole life is crazy.

He does look like he comes from a relatively affluent family, so that’s good for him.

Im 15 and im also in first year of highschool and studying for college exams. Here in Brazil, im a pretty decent student and i usually in normal days (school days) i study arround 9/10 hours. On weekends i usually practice exams and do my house chores, but i  take the afternoon  and the night to rest. Im impressed to know that my max is like nothing compared to those chinese students.

He is very well self-disciplined. Other than lacking some social time with maybe his neighboring school mates, I see his summer break life healthy and fruitful. My son is at his age and we live in U.S. He is as busy as Daniel in this video: swim practice, internship, spending 1-2 hours every day for his passion project, reading novels and history books to prepare for school year. In 11th grade summer, there are also tons of essay writing tasks for college application. They are even busier.
