How the hell is she named "Stimpak" and NOT a huge Fallout nerd already!?

Now that you got the basics please watch "Fallout Operation: Sunburst [Fan Animation]" by SODAZ. It's a fan animation showing a battle between the NCR and The Brotherhood of Steel. It shows really well both sides and how they view combat (NCR using their superior numbers to their advantage and brotherhood relying on superior firepower and power armor, being slowly ground down by the time their ammunition runs dry)

The chibi model is so cute. I love the normal one though. I miss the cute little smile

In a different subject, hearing Cody with that voice gave whiplash. I forgot how he sounded when I was first watching him.

If you're looking for more Fallout lore I highly recommend The Storyteller series by Shoddycast!

Fallout is so good we’re trying to recreate it IRL

It's so apparent that a lot of chatters only know Fallout from Badger's video.

Stim realizing this alternate reality is bleeding into ours is the same crashout I've been having for the last couple of years.  Fallout is suppose to be a cautionary tale, not a blueprint.

Aliens are the cherry on top as well. It wasnt bad enough genetically modified creatures and chem'd up psychos are on the loose, but you also got aliens on the side.

The Vault where the message played? That only happened once there were only 4 survivors left from the original population.

I always figured he got the idea after looting the Caesars Palace casino.

LiL Stim has no right to be this cute!

The new model is so cute

This Video basically covers the absolute basics of the franchise, I HIGHLY recommend longer Videos that go further into depth of Fallout lore

Most of the early history comes from the 'Fallout Bible' that was written by one of the Fallout 2 designers, Chris Avellone. It's basically a collection of design documents, lore, in-universe canon choices from the original games and the original iteration of the canceled Fallout 3. How much of it is still canon to Bethesda's version is anyones guess. The Fallout Bible is available online though if you want to look though it.

8:09 This was based off of real events but were exaggerated by Fallout they did attempt to invade Canada and we did fight but it only lasted three weeks

Ceasar used to be a member of the Followers of the Apocalypse, who are the faction that's all about preserving pre-war culture whenever they're not doing humanitarian work. He read about the Romans while he was part of them.

Then, once he took over his own raider tribe, he shamelessly ripped the Romans off while pretending it was all divine inspiration from the war god Mars. Since the Cult of Mars hinges on Ceasar's knowledge being divine inspiration, the Legion's policy is killing anybody who looks particularly educated, especially Followers of the Apocalypse, immediately; because Ceasar's afraid that his state religion is going o fall apart once his people realize he's been having them LARP as an ancient empire.

...This is the coolest thing about Ceasar, I'd say. The guy's really hardcore about his hobbies. Don't tell me you're a true fan until you've had people disappeared for trying to make you break character just when your LARP's getting good.

saddest part about fallout is bethesda will never let it become what it was, which is a post post apocalpyse setting. in F1 and F2 humanity was already rebuilding, and ever since bethseda took over they've regressed to being stuck in an apocalyptic setting.

5:30 - It's alternate history because it took them until 2051 to do it?

13:10  that particular story was completely f*cked. It involves violence, extortion, and grape. The woman eventually had enough and unalived most of the people who were threatening her husband (they blackmailed her and she went along to protect him; when they put him in danger anyways, she went berserk).

11:56 The experiments were used to give information of the non experimental vaults of any possible mistakes before and after the reclamation of American. They were disgusting but they gave important information, best to remember their people couldn’t create their own proper theories, they were made but they couldn’t be proven as fact so at that point in time it was the best way to prove said theories, were they wrong but it was needed to make even the Garden of Edam Creation Kit.
