My God there are other people like me who cannot throw away scraps of cloth and thread. So happy to find your channel. I live with some people who will have a nervous breakdown if they see my scrap stash

“A little piece of heavenly embroidery.”  Quote of the day.  Love this.

I love this way of being totally in the moment ❤

“If you’re an an absolute magpie you can just go mad and loads glitzy bits.” 🤣❤

You are the Bob Ross of Stitching! So beautiful, so well explained, and so calming! Thank you!

An idea came to me this morning as I was watching your tutorial to make a patchwork knee blanket, possibly moving on to a patchwork quilt, my son is 41 and he made some small sewing items when he was in Primary School and I would like to include these!

Happy to have found the leader of my tribe at last!!! You exemplify my wider shines style like I never thought possible! I sew and made a few boring attempts, but it just seemed so staid and not Kool and kooky, like me, (and you apparently!)  Thanks so much for being here when I needed you the most! It's so meditative it helps me focus on the art, and not the perfection -- Hurray!. Also, wanted to leave you a note because you haven't had one lately. Here you go!

I was one of those people who thought junk journaling looked pretty but was kind of silly.  Once again I have been proven wrong.  I have an idea in my head and have been searching and here the junk journalers have completely solved it for me.  I’m thinking of doing this on a larger scale creating a “fabric” to make a purse.  This is perfect. It’s beautiful.

On Monday, I found a book in my favourite section of the library ‘Essential Stitch Guide’ by Judith Baker Montano. Then tonight this video of yours showed up on my feed. I think the universe is telling me to add another fibre craft to my life.

Loved this! Way too many “ experts” in the world, Grandma’s aunts and friends are the best way to learn anything in a practical way. 1st time visit you and I subscribed 👍🎉

Oh my goodness! I so enjoyed your video. I've been watching a lot of channels on slow stitching.  You know how sometimes you just research something into the ground because you're just too afraid to jump off and go for it? That's where I'm at at the moment.  I think I'm brave enough now to give it a try!😊

I have bought a few slow stitching kits from Etsy. Hadn’t a clue where to start!  After watching these tutorials, I am inspired to start small.  Can’t wait to give it a go. Thanks so much! Xx

I think I have been a slow stitcher  all my life as  I do  everything  by hand I even quilt large quilts by hand.  So  I will continue to do so.   Regards from New Zealand

I rent out a cottage. It’s colorful.  (Greens, blues, pinks) I don’t care for the journals but I love the ideas of framing small pieces to set on furniture and hanging. Even cute coasters. I have bags of threads. This is exciting. 4x4 is too small for me so 5 X 7 will have to do.  I also have tons of damaged vintage scarves.

Really enjoyed this video and will love making these❤

Thanks to this tutorial I am finally having a go at small pieces. ❤

I love this! Thank you for the inspiration and explanation.

Love watching you. Great explanation. Thank you.  Just finished a crib  blanket. Can’t wait to try this.

It is wonderful that this has become a fashionable way of spending time again, but it is also strange to me that yet another name has been invented for something people have been doing for centuries!
I love that, as in the past, it is acceptable for each of us to invent the way of doing things that suits them and what they have to hand to make something. No patterns or how to instruction manual required! This was how I have worked since 1957. Children were given scraps, access to mother's button box and left to their own devices unless they asked for help that any woman in our village would willingly give. It is a tradition I would love to see return as it gave me the basis of a life-long pleasure. Now, we underestimate what pre-school aged children can start to learn.

Beautiful work love it thank you ❤❤❤
