Is the cheapest Tesla Model 3 actually the smartest buy? In this review I take a detailed look at the 2026 Tesla Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) to find out what you really lose compared to the Premium Long Range version.
At around €6,000 less than the Premium model, the entry-level Model 3 still offers over 500km of range, 283hp, rapid 175kW DC charging, Tesla's brilliant software, a panoramic glass roof, heated seats, and access to the Supercharger network. But is the extra money for the Premium version worth it?
In this video I cover:
✅ Range and real-world efficiency
✅ Charging speeds and ownership costs
✅ Interior differences vs Premium Long Range
✅ Ride comfort and handling
✅ Tesla software and features
✅ Practicality and family use
✅ Value for money in Ireland
With Tesla pricing, grants and incentives changing regularly, this could be one of the most compelling EVs on sale right now.
Would you save the €6,000 or spend extra on the Premium version? Let me know in the comments.

After a week with the car, I genuinely think Tesla has been quite clever here. The things they've removed are noticeable, but nowhere near as noticeable as having an extra €6,000 in your bank account.
Curious to hear what you'd do 👇
