How to Make Ground Beef & Cabbage
Ground Beef & Cabbage
Ingredients:
1 small cabbage chopped
1 lb ground beef
1 can diced tomatoes 15oz
1 cup onions chopped
2 garlic cloves minced
1 tablespoon bouillon powder
½ teaspoon cumin
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon smoked paprika
salt to taste
Instructions:
Place ground beef in a large pan or large cast-iron skillet on medium heat.
Break up the ground beef with a wooden spoon, and cook till the meat is browned.
Move the ground meat to one side and add the chopped onions and garlic.
When it's done, pour in the diced tomatoes and the rest of the spices.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes on medium-high heat.
Taste for salt and adjust.
Add the chopped cabbage, stir, and cook with the pot covered till the cabbage becomes soft.
Notes
This recipe serves 6 and contains 8 net carbs per serving.
Throw in your favorite fresh herbs and spices for the lip-smacking taste you love.
You can add a little olive oil if you don't have enough from the ground beef to saute the onions and garlic.
If the stir fry is getting a little dry and the cabbage is not done yet, add about a quarter cup of beef broth or chicken broth.
Add some soy sauce or coconut aminos for more complex flavor.

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you! After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to rebrand this channel to Open Dialogue Diaries. This change reflects a fresh direction and aligns more closely with the content I’m passionate about creating for you as I enter this new chapter of my life (50 years young). I want to provide a welcoming space of open dialogue and encouragement as we maneuver through this thing called life.
Here’s what this means:
Why the Change? As the channel has grown, I realized that the old name didn’t fully capture the essence of what I want to share with you: real conversations, authentic moments, and exciting new ideas.
What’s Staying the Same? You can still expect some delicious recipes, heartfelt chats, etc, just with a fresh name and perspective!
What’s New? You will see occasional real life discussions/hot topics with my husband, workout challenges, travel, etc.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey. Your support means everything, and I’m so excited to take this next step together.
Let me know what you think about the new name in the comments! And don’t forget to hit that notification bell so you don’t miss any of the amazing content coming your way.
