Hi whats yall experience with dating? Uhh i met my first gf at a public library actually!   ....also hey  close to 1k so think about subing !

"You know? You know?"
No I don't Shiina, every girl I have ever asked out on a date has said no.

so shiina's advice is, "just raise another man's kid"
hard no

How to get a girl friend?
Step 1: Find a woman who is already attracted to you.
Step 2: Act confident and simply ask her out.
Step 3: Realize Step 1 is impossible.
Step 4: Concede.

So essentially, the interesting and cute women are unobtainable? Got it.

God, imagine if Shiina discovers hoe_math

I think my thing was the ghosting. Getting ghosted several times in a row really destroys self confidence, especially when they are the few who end up matching and talking with you. Its like "Why am I even doing this? So I can get humiliated and ignored more?"

Yeah, it's bad, all the girls I like are in relationships and all the girls I want hide in the house

We're all screwed, basically. None of us want to go out, so we won't meet anyone, and dating apps are literally the worst (and also specifically designed not to work).

You know that fellow homebodies are out there and there's definitely someone who you'd be compatible with, but you have no way of meeting them besides MAYBE dating apps.

It's also hard for me to go out and do stuff even if I wanted to, because I work 3rd shift. So I'm usually sleeping all day and only awake at night.

Dating apps are like a large fishnets for a few fishermen with the most attractive lures. That's why they want that only thing

Reminds me of that one clip I saw of a female Japanese otaku doing an interview and she was asked why she hadn't found a boyfriend yet. Her response was essentially "If I had a boyfriend I'd have less time for videogames".

this is the first time I'm experiencing a hand cam where the hand doesn't feel disembodied, but actually attached to the girl on screen

Shiina living very afraid life.

At this rate, arranged marriages are going to come back into fashion.

I can't tell if the sad bee there has the tin foil for his protection or Shiinas' hearing the words coming out of her mouth. 😳😆😂

This is the issue with a lack of 3rd spaces. Back when those were around, if the two of you were at the same space, there was a good chance you would have at least one interest in common. Now with modern dating, it's just blind luck to find someone who likes something similar to you.

modern dating do be cooked. no luck online & if you do find someone interesting irl they start talking about their partner about 10 minutes into the convo

Not the "girls are as lonely too but they're silent about it" bruh... I need another dose of Ryan Gosling images

I've heard all the horror stories of being in a relationship as a guy, so I'm not bothering chasing. Plus, I got other stuff to focus on that are more important.

In ye olde times you would be courting from the people you already knew growing up. Your date's parents already knew you since you were a child so you were already vetted. But now we live in places with hundreds of thousands of other people and commute hours away from home to workplace. And the people we live next to or work with can vary wildly in age. So there's pretty much no sense of community. And social media has only worsened this alienation.
