EK is a complex and dangerous man but MAYBE parents should take stock in how they are raising their children.  That little innocent infant was NOT born to kill - his deranged MOTHER contributed to his demise. He was treated abhorrently by her and rejected by his father. Not every child that is abused becomes a serial killer - thank goodness, but in MOST CASES OF SERIAL KILLERS - they were, in fact, mistreated as children.  He is manipulative, intelligent but, he recognized that he needed to stop and turned himself in - which is almost unheard of.  He is where he belongs and he has used his intellect to do a lot of good within the walls of his confinement.  May his victims RIP.

I was mistreated and abused throughout my childhood but I always loved and took care of my pets and never killed anyone. That man is a soulless individual, no empathy. Abuse made it worst for him.

One of the best documentaries on ED Kemper , well researched . Thank you sir ! great job ...EK is probably the only serial killer  who gave himself up  .also he explained in detail all his actions and tried to justify them   in multiple interviews.. Bundy denied all until a few days before execution  and never provided details

I'm a huge 7"1 man myself and also have a high IQ and strange urges but I've never had the urge to kill someone or cause someone harm ... I realize how much I'm actually like him

You know. Its sad to see how badly he was treated by the people who were supposed to be caring for him. His rages. I think he was driven insane by the abuse, and the way he was treated. I personally. Would love to have a sit down conversation with him. As dumb or as stupid as that sounds. I would. I think if he had proper help as a child or hell been taken and into foster care! Which before ANYONE says anything. I know it probably it wouldnt have gotten better. He has a fucked up mind. No doubt. It doesn't excuse the murders. But i feel bad for the abuse he went through. There is a complete difference between, DRIVEN insane, then being BORN insane. I think he had been driven insane by the abuse. And its sad to see that much potential wasted on his actions that landed him where he is now. Could you imagine what he could have been or done if he had people who actually loved him and gave him the help he needed instead of the abuse he got?

He should have be taken care by their parents, he should be taken care of and he should might have had a happy childhood, teenager years and he might have gotten married and he might be having a beautiful family by now. Maybe their family were really toxic and his dad didn't loved him because he had another family he wanted more. The people around him were too hostile to him in his city as he said or maybe it was his neurosis, but these facts are not excuse to kill innocent people who did nothing to him.

He was hot indeed, tall, smart and handsome but he was psycho and got paranoid schizophrenia and PTSD, brilliant mind and killer psycho too.

He talked to his victims until they begged to die

Who the heck are these people in black and white being shown at first I’m looking at him being interviewed and then they showed up

Yup...Ed was a Smart Man ..But had Evil in his SOUL..😳😳😱😡

The title says interview what interview?????????????

Guess he didn't make the basketball team in highschool

It is kinda true, if it were the 1800’s and he lived up in the mountains he would be considered a normal crazy mountain man, much like the liver eater.

The dude was let go after snuffs family and got out.

The narrator is talking more than Kemper.

Ed is still alive. People write him still.

My early life is so similar to Eds. Both my mother and grandmother too were awful to me

Big Ed was born with something in his brain that was tilted, then Clarnell made it nature and nurture.

If I ever find myself in Office, I’m passing a law that requires all citizens procure licensing before having children… 😩

It's hard to know when Kemper is telling the truth or manipulating. His calm demeanour make him seem completely reasonable, but in the controlled environment of prison someone like Kemper can probably appear normal. I read in his last parole hearing, the finding of the board is that Kemper is not fit for release, has not been rehabilitated and is as dangerous as he was when he first arrived. This is probably true when looking at his psychology but he is an elderly man now, in a wheelchair and in poor health. I am not saying he should be released - the nature of his crimes should preclude that.
