Never apologize for being passionate about something…inaccuracies bother me too as a collector.

Great video. We need more people like you and DeanKnight333 speaking up, because otherwise standards will regress. To new collectors, the uninitiated, I'm sure this figure will look out of this World, but the informed and experienced collectors among us know that it's laced with inaccuracies. We have grown accustomed to higher standards. My grievance is the lack of consistency, that Hot Toys are capable of doing so much better. They set a precedent with their recent Bane 2.0, and so when you see them not pulling out all of the stops for such an iconic character as this, it is very galling to say the least.

Never apologize for highlighting the flaws and inaccuracies, if someone takes offense, well, that is on them. It tells you an awful lot about their character.

We need these things addressed, bro! Great video!!!

Hot toys becomes complacent over the years high time that Coward Chan and his minions step down

I’m happy this is available for many fans who want it. I have the 1.0 so I’m good but I would want a 2.0 Dutch.

This figure looks great to me . Day one preorder. I would not even notice the inaccuracy that you pointed out . If anyone comes over to my house and sees this , just like me they will not notice . They will say “cool predator “ !

As I zoomed in, I could see the quills, but it looked like they painted over them. It's weird . Great vid, tho

A classic Sci-fi must-have for me. Already pre-ordered the deluxe. I've been waiting the longest for this Jungle Hunter Predator. Hopefully, we get a Dutch.

Damn, I didnt realize how bad they f*cked this up until I watched this video, what a joke. I had no idea where that concept mask was from, thanks for sharing, that's actually pretty neat. Great video!

Honestly I've heard whining and being nit picky you're not at all you are spot on and are just being as all of us who are true predator sci-fi fans coming with constructive criticism yo which I hope hot toys does put attention to detail.  I went on there IG account and spoke on a few of the details you mentioned because I do believe this is just there prototype final iteration so there's still time to do some accurate tweaking.  And trust me I seen and heard some youtubers really whine like a  kid in the basement with cookie crumbs on his stomach just blasting away on the keyboard 😂 you are definitely not that my man your views and opinions are expressed way better and you don't sound at all whiny so don't Tripp it's all good . Great view points and accurate criticism .

You’re fully justified, I almost felt bad for being critical, but if they want our money, they need to entice us! We have every right to complain when they are lazy, given the fact we have waited forever and they don’t make these often.

very good review tbh. spot on defo. Im not in2 hobby so long so i did not have chance to grab first one.. so for me.. after that kenobi vader, predator 2.0 was in my daily prayers :) cant describe the joy!! Also semi sure now that Dutch 2.0 comes soon 💪🤞😁

Man, I wish people like you could chime in and point out the inaccuracies on figures like NWH Tobey spider man at the time it was announced.

That portrayal meant everything to me and HT butchered it while a lot people dismissed valid criticisms as “picky”, so your frustration is very understandable.

Great video and call outs. At the HT level (a company that typically strives for accuracy), I don't think you're nitpicking. (And you're certainly not a cry baby).  Overall, if we all standback, sure, its an amazing sixth scale figure. But like you said, Pred fans AND long-term HT fans will immediately see the 'areas of opportunity' that were skipped by HT.   The lack of quills via secondary headsculpt and small cannon bother me. But  Despite all the innaccuracies, my biggest gripe remains the visible joints at the elbows. Yes, its better than the double jointed 1.0, but I expect HT (the leader in 1/6th) to R&D a seemless & durable option. (I'm dying on that hill! :P)  Keep up the great video work.

saw this movie when I was 7yrs old back in 88 scared the living ** out of me seen it a bunch of times since thought I knew my predators as I've owned all the Hot Toys Preds in the past but never realized the inaccuracy's with this release until your video. must be getting old. wish Hot Toys would listen more to collector's criticism like Asmus does, hopefully all the issues are fixed before release kinda doubt it though.

They really cut back on the base

The short height really bugs me.
He's the same height as classic, which is far too short.
KPH was 7ft 2, in the costume at least 7ft 5. Some say he was around 7ft 8 in costume.
This figure is at least 2 inches too short. He should be as tall as their Feral Predator figure, if not taller.
This fig will look ridiculous next to other figures.

They refuse to get the shoulder cannon right.  And it's STILL not removable.  Even the McFarlane figure from like 25 years ago got that right.  That's not a nitpick and it's not forgivable.  HT just had to look at some screencaps and make it right and they just don't care.

Just curious who do you use for custom work? I am just now getting intocollecting hot toys.

The tiny face quills could be done with strands of hair. Flexible enough to fit behind the mask without harming anything imo.
