$300 for nails? Lawwd girl you are definitely dedicated to having nails on fleek. You handled it way better than I would've handled it because I would've wrote an honest review in all her review pages and tagged her on her crappy work. You stayed classy. More stories please ❤

Im a nail tech and if you gave me a $300 budget i wouldve spazzed on them hands and made sure you had a blanket and warm milk or sumthing lmaoooo okay!! My dream client !

Nah cause she would’ve got these hands tf…shorty was buuuuggin! You definitely handled it in a classy & mature way!

I’m not even halfway through the story and my jaw is on the floor. It is really sad that an independent contractor shot herself in the foot like that. It sounds like you had a good working relationship and she was being paid good money for her work. I don’t know why she would blow up that situation because you asked for some stones to be replaced. Everyone is not built for business.

"Everybody pull out your calculators. Let's do some math" 🤣🤣🤣

She don’t even know she lost a really good and kind customer

You actually gave her $330. The amount was $290 owed. You gave her 3 100 dollar bills. You let her keep that $10 that was supposed to be your change. Then you asked her to break another 100 dollar bill, in which she broke for you with all twenties. On top of the $10 in change you supposed to get back but let her keep, out the twenties she gave you to break that extra 100, you gave her a $20 bill back. Girl, you gave her a $30 tip hon.

Not sure why this video came up recommended for me but I am glad it did. I actually enjoyed listening to your story!! I can't believe people charge $300 for nails!! But then again I always get a gel French with ONLY 3 rhinestone diamonds on my 2 ring fingers an my lady who owns foxy hair and nails in Pleasanton ca, has been my lady for the last 10 years straight (never ever have I " cheated "on her) so she hooks me up. $55 a fill plus $20 tip. I feel that I get a great deal and I hope she is happy with me as a customer as well.  But back to you and your story, if you are able to get $300 nails, then you go woman! That's what's up 😊. Shame on that chick, she doesn't deserve to have your business

You handled it very well sis! It’s no way those stones should’ve been coming off 2 days later and you were very respectful each time you were reaching out to her. Did you get your nails fixed before your bday ??

As a nail tech that sucks. It's hard to even find good clients like u. And real Swarovski or any kind of crystals shouldn't fall of that fast. The gold charms usually turn colors over time but ur supposed to seal in the crystals with gel and protect the gold with gel topcoat. I think she wasn't experienced with crystal application. She shoulda replaced ur design free of charge as well becuz it's her error. So sorry that happened to u. And I wouldn't want to sit in her chair again after all of that smh ❤️

I be having to show ppl my Apple Pay for them to believe how much I pay 😂🤣 but for $220 my tech would’ve gave you glow in the dark  nails plus all the bling and decals

At first I thought you were being a princess but with that price tag…..shoot they better last!  There’s supposed to be a grace period for fixing your nails.  To me she was wrong saying you didn’t pay a week later. Next day she should’ve said that.

ON EVERYTHING I feel you!! I 100% agree. These nail techs and lash techs be sooo disrespectful and unprofessional. I feel you on the whole handling it in a different manner. Because I’m like you I be wanting to beat these girls ass but I’m trying to change and be mature. Like, this lash tech did my volume set twice and took 3 hrs doing them both times charged $150 And the lashes literally fell out in the first week! I asked her to fix them and literally she been giving me the run around and I want to violate her. But I been real patient and telling myself to just chuck it up as a lost. But I’m ready to violate 😂. Not fight but her ass on blast on IG.

The nail tech sounds dense af

New subscriber! I love your vibe and this story time! You sound like Jennifer off basketball wives 😍❤️

The issue with a lot of these “people” who provide services is that they haven’t mastered their craft. It takes 10,000 hours for a craft to stick(and that’s basic)… continuing that craft evolves into something major if consistent.. People think getting on YouTube …or posting something on Instagram makes them an entrepreneur….SUHHHH GO LAYYYYY 🥴🥴

When I say “I WOULD’VE WOKE UP IN A NEW BUGATIIIIII” over with.
I’m proud of you though because folks playing with characters is the reason for the show SNAPPED.

Sorry you went through that !!!
Happy Birthday Notch (mine is Sept 1)

I know for facts when it comes to being a perfectionist…. We’re that 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I had a similar thing happen with lashes $150 for rainbow colored lashes supposed to be hybrids. She gave me these tiny barely noticeable classic set which should have been $50 cheaper but still charged the hybrid price.

I wasn’t happy because the inspo photo was much longer dramatic etc but I paid and then two days later I lost so many lashes already it looked a mess. I was supposed to be going to an event that weekend had them done Monday the event was on Saturday. I reached back out to her and crickets. She finally responded Friday morning two days later saying she was supposedly on vacation and wouldn’t be able to see me until the day I scheduled my fill. I thought this was strange because she was a new tech newly certified had no Instagram photos to speak of and had a wide-open schedule when I had originally called and sure enough when I had a friend call and try to schedule a new set she had time for a full set but no time to repair a set adding the missing lashes back.

I ended up having to drive to several different stores before I was able to find a pair of glue on rainbow eyelashes to wear to the event because I would’ve been embarrassed to show up with the lashes that I did have they were so messed up at that point my eyes looked funny.

I never showed up for the fill I thought was fair considering see got $150 for something that lasted 2 days if I was to divide the two weeks are supposed to last by the price I got about $20 worth of lashes for the time they lasted. And I had no use to fill rainbow lashes after gay pride month was over. No I would’ve gone back to her and had regular colored or maybe try to cut out some of the rainbow and maybe have like black and pink or black and purple lashes put on but I wasn’t going to come give you more money so those lashes could fall out in 2 days again and then make up some excuse why you can’t see me till the next time I got to pay you in full again

This was enough review for my calc exam

If she didn't respond to my texts, I would have gone to her shop. Maybe she was unhappy with her tip. It used to be that you don't tip the owner, but that has changed, and 20% is standard for all services. So IMO, if you're good with paying $300 for the service, a $30 tip should be no prob. But, she should have answered her texts, and repaired your nails asap...there's no excuse for that!

Moral of the story: Communicate on time!
