John here, the guy who shared the bothy with you, and the mice. I was a bit surprised to see you coming in through the heavy rain in the evening but having seen the previous video it was quite a day you had! Great to see the video and share the place with you. It was a cracking building in a stunning and remote location and I was very happy with my room where I didn’t have the company of Micky or Minnie. The next day I walked to Sourlies bothy, en route to Inverie, which is another stunning location by the sea but a bit more cramped as there was 8 of us in a one room building, so not sure how easy you would find filming there. Look forward to seeing where else you end up.
Hats off to every single family member who built that lawn at the back of the house. Those kids bucketed some soil and picked some stones. A good lesson for the future.
Not the prettiest building??? It's beautiful, it's rustic, it has such character and truly feels like a part of the landscape. What a beautiful and remote location like stepping into another world
Nothing wrong with looking behind you, especially when in such a remote place. My head is on a swivel in urban or remote, just being aware of surroundings
Fellow 80s kid here. Given my physical ailments, I love living vicariously through your videos. I can only dream of hiking now days. I'm happy you found a bothy to stay the night... 💚🤙🏼🧡
I would end up starving and the mice sitting back relaxing at the fire with their paws on their full tummy as I shiver and my belly rumbling all night 🤔🤣🤣🥰❤❤
The way the mouse moved down the wall was poetry in motion 😊 When he was eating the pasta, it sounded like he was typing a letter. Perhaps he was sending a letter to a mouse friend in another bothy in the area, complaing that there was another one of those human things living in his house, but at least this one had the decency to bring some decent food 😂
