R.I.P. Johnny Guitar Byrne (1939-1999), Tony Jackson (1940-2003), Johnny Gustafson (1942-2014), Geoff Nugent (1943-2014) and Gerry Marsden (1942-2021).

I could listen to people from Liverpool talk for hours.  I love their accents.

RIP Chris Curtis 1941-2005.
Loved him dearly. ❤

I can speak personally about what a decent and kind bloke Johnny Gustafson was and how generous and thoughtful he was to younger generation musicians.  Loved that man and still can’t understand how the Big 3 didn’t become stars given their talent.

THE PILGRIMS and THE JOY STRINGS and THE LIVERBIRDS were great also

When I see Rock Family Trees I think of Pete Frame. He had his Trees published in Trouser Press and earlier had done interviews in ZIG ZAG Magazine. Nice to see what BRIAN JONES ( the sax player) looks like. I love his work on MIKE MCGEAR LP 1974

No Bagshot, no Bootleggers, no Hideaways.  Needed to dig deeper.

I can believe Macca played Yesterday to Billy J Kramer, but no way did he offer the song to him and he turned it down. I just don't believe that. The guy is inventing a brighter past, I'm afraid ...

Unwatchable in this 'squashed screen' format which is a huge injustice to an otherwise great subject.
