Taking our eye off the ball?  Presupposes that we, as a nation, as humans, cant do more than one thing at a time.  

One fact is well known in all walks of life.  Defense always loses. To win, you must also play offense.  Professionals must and can focus on both.

the moral injury of 9/11/2001 and again on 1/20/17 and yet AGAIN on 1/20/25, because kicking Americans in the teeth by a handful of oligarch-wannabe families can never be done long enough or hard enough by them as they wave a flag, use the God word, and pretend to care about women and children when they feel nothing but contempt for them...iow, 25 years after 9/11, proves that America learned nothing at all, does NOT value its hard won Democratic Republic, and the contempt slaver families have for American citizens, in general,  is plain as day
