Papa Roach made this song when we needed it as angry teens. Ronnie did it for those of us that are now broken adults

I feel like Papa Roaches original rendition is more of the explosion of emotion teenagers fighting against something they can't handle while Falling in Reverses reimagining is more of the adult realizing it's a fight they can't win and asking for help

Talk about blindsided. I was like , "Great. A Papa Roach cover. How bad will this be?" ... not realizing I signed up to weep at 2am.

There is a video here on youtube of a recording where Jacoby Shaddix says he made a request to several artist about doing a remake of their song "Last resort" as a celebration for it's 20 year anniversary, and Ronnie accepted. There is even a video where Ronnie plays the first raw song for Jacoby and its amazing to see the raw emotions and respect both artists have for eachother.

I'm a 45 year old man. Sitting here in tears. When he sings the line "Lost my mother" crushed me. And my mom's alive... But she's not doing good. To think of how I'll be when she does is horrible. This broke me. Wow oh my God

Ronnie made you feel each and every word, emotion that he sang. So glad Papa Roach gave their blessing and Ronnie poured himself out! Great reaction guys, take care!!!

Her reaction made me tear up. Exactly how i felt listening to the lyrics and his voice. Even the visuals of the buildings crumbling ugh.

If that song doesn't shake you to the core of your soul then you aren't human!

the falling in reverse verison of papa roach's last resort is amazing. the difference is that the papa roach version was for the angsty angry teenager and that Ronnie's version is for the broken adult who is genuinely trying to heal themselves and I have never heard anything like it

Perfect visual of being lost and alone as your world crumbles down around you

"Ronnie's voice is the purest form of mortal struggle."

No one could have said it better.
That's the exact essence of Ronnie that we adore. What makes him the best is his ability to sing/rap/scream/opera/punk/pop so masterfully as if he's been doing them all his entire life, then you put his lyrical ability in there, and throw on his video concepts and it's easy to see why Ronnie is the best in the world.
