Actors who are afraid to look ugly are the most awful at acting. You're not a model, you are being paid to emote.

Caleb Hearon nailed it when he said, "ageing isn't even one percent as scary as whatever is going on with the people who try not to."

Funny how everyone rushed to remove the fat of their faces when that’s what makes you look better as you age.

Kim Kardashian acting is the easiest AI deepfake ever.

children using anti aging stuff is really disturbing

They say wrinkles are ugly, but I think lack of facial expressions is worse 😳

Edit: I don't think wrinkles are ugly btw. Society has brainwashed us into believing ridiculous beauty standards.

The fact that Kate Winslet even had to sit there and explain why she hasn't had any work done...🤦‍♀️

I’m 45. I look 45. It really is fine, people are worrying about something that hasn’t even happened yet. That’s like paying a debt you don’t owe.

You should see some of the Chinese drama actors who got the “smiling lips” surgery, they can emote with their eyes but not their mouths it’s nuts

@elif6908 9 months ago (edited)

There was a time when everyone and their mother criticised Kristen Stewart saying ‘she couldn’t emote’ and ‘what’s wrong with her face?’ and such.
Now look at where we are.

I can't watch chinese period drama for this reason. I don't think 200 years ago chinese people looked like video game character with triangular face and big eyes.

"You’re scaring me"
Kim: 😐

"You’re angry"
Kim: 😐

"You get pumped"
Kim: 😐

Everybody: so much emotions, so much expressions
Meanwhile, Kim: 😐

What shocked me most recently is that, apparently, Jim Carrey has started getting botox. His facial expressions are his whole brand. This is actual insanity.

The worst is when you're not an english speaking person and the voice dubbing are bad.
No facial expression + bad and/or emotionless voice dubbing = WTF am I watching ? What did he/she said again ? I need context clues.

It’s the pissing in the swimming pool face.

Naomi Watts not having a frozen face only serves to highlight just how frozen the rest of them are.

Lol she couldn't become a lawyer irl, so she is playing one on TV. Thats perfect 😂

I want to look like a cute little granny when I’m 80.
In order to achieve that, I can’t have plastic surgery, so I guess I’ll go through all the boring decades in between without any surgical help.

@coolgamer3000 9 months ago

I'll take wrinkly faces and "ugly" expressions over soulless curated faces any day of the week, hate it when you look into someones eyes and don't see a single thought
