You can see the silhouette of the werewolf standing up when the guy is hunting in the woods and turns around before the attack. I haven't been this excited for a movie in years

Can't wait to watch another Robert Eggers masterpiece

Some of the cinematography in this movie looks like antique period photographs from Eastern Europe come to life. A beautiful aesthetic. Cannot wait!

I am beyond excited for this. That howl is exactly what i want when i think of a werewolf movie

Love Robert Eggers take on these old Gothic style pieces. He does them justice, he does the research. It's brilliant work.

A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing. Oh I do hope it's a good one. And if it is what a good day to spend X-Mas in a dark theater watching a werewolf movie. 😅

This looks great. And that howl gives me goosebumps.

Werewolf imagery and lore has terrified me since I was a kid and "accidentally" saw The Howling. A few of the movies* (Dog Soldiers, The Howling) start out great but by the middle/end, they stop being scary and you just want it to end. This looks like it might be the first legitimately scary werewolf movie. That howl and the roar when the little girl gets blood splattered on her face sent chills.
*An American Werewolf in London is great all the way through but not really scary except for a couple of scenes.

Fear of the old blood.
If it's not a cosmic horror it's not gonna be the best

Imagine Eggers makes a movie about Skinwalker Ranch.

Hoping this is a good one. Can always use a good werewolf movie, and they seem to come around few and far between. Nosferatu literally almost put me to sleep, in the theater, on its opening day. Fingers crossed for this one.

You did it again. I'm really excited to see this movie!

I hope this turns out to be decent. The last werewolf movie I went to the theater to see was really bad (Wolf Man).

Robert Eggers should also make a movie about Frankenstein.🤔

I am so stoked for this!!! With the reboot of The Blair Witch Project, why not an origin story? Imagine Bob taking that on? It would be amazing! Grim, gritty, muted colours. Not playing up the origin story in a plastic and obvious way. But in a suggestive “Is this real or superstition?” . The guilt carried by the townsfolk. A fever dream in some sequences. He would master that.

I really really want to see Eggers do a van helsing movie. Not like Hugh Jackmans where it’s really out there and a bit over the top but I also don’t want it to be so grounded and realistic where it’s just a hunter hunting stuff yknow. Just a smidge out of realistic to have him doing awesome shit 😅

@RobHiltz 3 days ago

Yes we talked yesterday- it’s hard to not be excited about this one 🖤 I hope there is no more sneak peeks; we have enough!

Man I would kill, I would KILL for this man to adapt the Shadow Over Innsmouth by Lovecraft. After this trailer I am convinced no one could capture the atmosphere of that story and that town like Eggers
