Dr. McGrath was brilliant. Scary how he said he has seen every single way a patient can die. Humans are a brutal species.

Here's how I know they're trying the right guy: If an innocent man were on trial for this particularly heinous crime, he'd be disgusted and terrified. Only a sociopath would commit such a crime and laugh about it in court.

This monster took her life. I was assaulted over and over by my father from the age of 7. I used to make excuses why I hurt so much, walked strangely. I had 5 miscarriages and couldn't carry a child from what he did to me. And he could have killed me at any given time, 6'2" and 250 lbs. I'm lucky to be alive. I can only imagine what waits for him in prison, mates of a different kind. Paitin would be 14 now. RIP baby girl.

Hopefully the jury can hear when these attorneys are speaking a lot of the time I can’t hear what the attorneys are saying, what questions are asking.

Defense counsel's demeanour is kind of annoying, but on the whole I don't mind him. (Especially compared to a lot of other defense attorneys I've seen.) He doesn't radiate contempt for everyone around him, he doesn't get argumentative with witnesses, he doesn't draw a bunch of objections, and he keeps his cross brief.
