ABOUT THE NUMBERS
This countdown uses ChartMasters’ equivalent album sales—not just physical or digital album purchases. Its methodology combines album sales with weighted contributions from singles, streaming and related releases. The ranking covers artists analysed by ChartMasters, and figures may change as estimates are updated. Source and methodology: ChartMasters.
