The Souls-Like Platinum That DETHRONED Elden Ring

I platinum'd the only single player game with souls elements that Destroyed Elden Ring being the most played souls style game. Black myth wukong is not an outright souls-like but takes things from the souls franchise and has its own action RPG spin on it. Oh also with a ton of Boss fights.

What would you give Wukong out of 10 when comparing it to Elden Ring (I'm curious)

This game is definitely a 9/10 absolutely loved this game and I cannot wait to play their next one Black Myth: Zhong Kui.

Not having good memories watching you deal with the scorpion lord... Yikes! Great video yet again, keep the content up

Might have had more players, but personally - never even finished this game, have finished Elden Ring more times than I can count. 🤷🏻

As a souls enjoyer I've been eating good these couple of years. Elden Ring, Lies of P, Black Myth, Stellar Black, and Khazan all came out back to back and were great one and all.

Elden Ring is objectively the best, but the rest were all great in their own ways and had enough content for at least one NG+ cycle.

i’ve got hundreds of hours in elden ring and it’s probably my favorite game of all time but that’s followed by black myth wukong which i waited for years to play then played it on my friends playstation, got decently far while we slept over and i just playyyyed. i had so so much fun, genuinely a gleaful and fulfilling time with the boys watching…and got it on xbox when it finally came out, but i have such a backlog so i haven’t played it quite yet.

You should check out The Last Hero of Nostalgaia

The First Berserker Khazan is also a top tier Souls-Like game imo.

Nicely done! Surprised to see this is mostly just boss fights. I heard it was a huge open world game but not even close to that. Still quite innovative, reminds me somewhat of Nier: Automata in terms of it keeping you stunned/amazed throughout.

Loving the content mate. Gotta be Lies of P and the DLC next. Personally I have as my best non FromSoft Souls like. Absolutely love it

This game looks pretty epic. Some dragonball z vibes going on! Another one I’ll need to add to my ever growing back catalog. Great video again, good job man!

I had a lot of fun with Black Myth: Wukong, and it was my Game of the Year 2024! I'm already looking forward to Black Myth: Zhong Kui!

But I still think Elden Ring is a 10/10 while Wukong is a 9/10. Which is still very good!

Elden and the dlc is a 10/10 for me. Black Myth is a 9/10.

Put over 120 hours into this game but I am pushing 60 so really never could platinum the game, just didn't have the reflexes at my age or the eyesight. Still one of the best games ever made in my opinion.
