I’ve been doing Elden Ring challenges for a while now, but I think it’s about time for me to make a challenge of my own. So, today I present you with dumpykong’s Elden Ring RUMP Challenge ™️. RUMP is simply an acronym for the rules of the challenge, but I’ll let video dumpy explain those. For now, kick back, and grab some snacks. This is gonna be a long one!

You technically don't die to the starting boss unless you jump off

at 38:45 Mohg spawns and all the children immediately die, which is lore-accurate

the grafted scion boss doesn't kill you to ensure true deathless runs. Your hp doesn't hit 0 and you get no "you died" screen (unless you jump off). Also in randomizer, unlocking the training grotto grace also unlocks the stranded graveyard grace to skip the rick replacement if he's like melania or something impossible, so you could indeed have still fast travelled out of there.

This has to be one of the Challenge Runs of all Time

I’m just gonna put this out there, you don’t technically die to the first boss, he leaves you at 1HP, so technically you don’t lose anything if he “kills” you

I love the part when dumpykong said "it's dumping time" and konged all over the lands between

30:00 fun fact, LMSH used Rivers of blood with his cold uchi because the fire and frost cancel each other when proc'd so you can continuously proc along with bleed eventually. And of course, Malenia is weak to all of those.

Btw, the serpent hunter spear respawns in the Rykard arena when you discard it, so that’s why it was there

Grafted scion doesn’t count as a death you could’ve kept so many weapons!

17:00 just be glad it wasn't fire Giant because if you didn't know his fire attack the fire segments Bounce Around The Arena all over the place for like 10 seconds after he's already stopped attacking

@lyndsaypeters5981 3 years ago

27:00 imagine if you had to fight the shade in the shadow Arena

You and many others inspired me to do my own challenge run. It wasn’t unique but we all have to start somewhere I guess. It was a faith only run and I had a blast, I was gonna post it, but these challenges aren’t always for bragging rights, they’re for fun! Thanks Dumpy, for just doin what you do!
