If you don't know, get the Neo. If you can't decide, get the Air.

This is the most sane review comparing the Air and Neo I have seen.

Watching this footage on a MacBook 2012 model.

I was trying to decide between the Air and the Neo, and ended up getting two Neo’s- one for me and one for my son.

Seems like Neo is more than enough for most general users on docs/slides/sheets editing + Chrome + Gemini + ChatGPT + YouTube + Netflix

Watching this video on my silver Neo!

I was going to get the NEO but instead bought the Air M4 from apple recertified for $683 which made it worth the small increase.

I have a Mac mini 64 gb as my main setting… the neo is perfect as a secondary device when I am traveling or away from my desk. I love it so far!

If it's dark TURN THE LIGHT ON! I dunno why so many people are typing in the dark. Are they camping 24/7? 🤣🤣🤣

The key difference is PRICE. The Neo is for the budget-minded.

If you need more performance and capability, then you need to spend $500 more. Are you well-heeled?

The Neo is perfectly adequate for performing everyday tasks. If you have a bit of patience, then you can also perform "prosumer" tasks.

It's a lovely machine.

Finally a review that doesnt go on and on about the rounded corners and the colours, as though they were the most important features.

I have a very high powered MacBook Pro 16” which I use for music production. Most of the time it’s hooked into a 55” TV screen and is the foundation of my studio. Of course the portability, when I need to work away, is fabulous but - oh dear - it’s really heavy to carry around in my backpack. So, three weeks ago I bought a Neo for everyday use. I absolutely LOVE it. Light, portable, efficient and beautiful to the touch and visually. It is a fabulous machine and I can’t recommend it highly enough - so much so, that I just bought one for my wife.

Excellent Presentation with an engaging personality! Great differentiation of two excellent computers!

The white keys on my neo vs the black backlit keys on the air are brilliant! I can see the letters easier. Wasn’t expecting that. 😅

As someone who has the education discount and who only uses a MacBook for making music, the Neo is just a no-brainer for me. Trading up my Intel Mac today for a 512 Neo for a whole $445 today!

Bought me an m4 macbook air for $850 couple months ago. Super happy with it

I have the MacBook Air with the M3 chip. I wish the Neo existed then! It’s all I would’ve needed and I’d have been able to have it in pink to match every other Apple product I own 😂🩷 great honest review as always!
