The rarest I owned, since sold, was a private press Sindelfingen 'odgipig (prog/folk) '73. Best owned? Stick with: Lived and worked for years in Lancaster, 20 miles north of Preston. Mid 90s pre internet washing machine stops full of washing. Emergency 24 hr plumber line. Someone with you in an hour. He arrives.'Great record collection' (then about 2800 lps and 250 cds ish). Fixes machine but needs to give it a 30 min cycle to be sure. Make him a brew. Asks to flick through the collection. Be my guest. Loves it. Asks will I be more of a CD guy now? No as most of my wants wont ever come out on CD (I was wrong!). He grabs 4 or 5 off the shelf (lps). These are out next month remastered on CD. You are well informed. Well...he says opening a gatefold and holding it up to his face..... Bloody hell you are Keef Hartley...plumbers card read K. Hartley. He signs all the KH Band albums plus Dog Soldier plus the John Mayalls he played on and I then realised...bloody bloody ell...you played at Woodstock. Yup. So someone who played Woodstock fixed my washing machine/sat and had a brew with me in my living room! True tale! Yes, I still have them all!

I think the rarest record I have is See Emily Play, Columbia green label demo, unfortunately it had had a very hard life before I found it.

She was in charge of Moonbase, in Gerry Anderson’s UFO, in an aluminium outfit and purple wig 😮🛸
She’s still with us, you could reach out maybe 🤔

I had that 7" Single by Reg Dwight come in around 6 months ago I also couldn't find a copy online so I just threw it on a 0.99p bid. Maybe I shouldn't of done that 😂😂

Caleb Quaye is Finlay Quaye’s older brother from another mother. Not his Dad.
