Wonderful showcase of records! I really love seeing your pickup and recomendations. I am not prolific with Prog or Psych, but episodes like these teach me a lot. The artwork on these LPs is very interesting.

That's some intresting art work on the Keith Tippett album

My son and I visited them for the first time a couple weeks back and Lee was good enough to sign a Cathedral album for my son.  I picked up an Electric Wizard album and a Stupids album.

Very well presented George & you had a little  co 🐕  presenter as well... 🥰 xxx

Wow, that Keith Tippett Group Vertigo Swirl find is superb.

Nice finds again George - not heard of them of course but 10/10 ! 😂❤

Apart from Tim Buckley !

Interesting finds as always, and a fantastic result on Tim Buckley. True what you say about the Cardiacs prices, always on the high end.

Nice episode again George - you really do feature  the most interesting records.😎

Great pick ups George! Visiting Rise Above is on my bucket list! I have that Triumvirat & it’s a great album! Starsailor is one of my favourites, brilliantly bonkers! Great finds on the Keith Tippet & Cardiacs albums, so hard to find in the wild. Must check out the Old Hat lp, looks interesting! Great video!

I believe I was walking in just as you were leaving Rise Above! I was visiting the UK and it was my first time in the shop. I agree, what a great place. I definitely did not leave empty handed! The Highgate area of London is such a beautiful area to stroll. Cheers!

The band is Uncle Dog/Carol Grimes and Uncle Dog. Actually got to see them the once supporting an early version of ELO back in '72 at the Edmonton Sundown. Some nice pick ups George.

Great haul there George.
Lots I was unfamiliar with.
I picked up Weekends' live from Ronnie Scott's that featured Keith Tippett on keyboards..lovely find that swirl, I rarely see affordable copies out there of that one.
Nice Starsailor, like me some Tim Buckley.
Looking forward to your part 2.

Nice pick-ups, George! I’ve never heard that swirl before… nice find. I’ve the double dimple album by Triumvirat. Bit of a manic one in places. That’s dangerous… drinking on the job 😳

You’ve got the best 2 cardiacs albums there in my opinion, on land and in the sea is absolutely amazing, contains my favourite song of theirs The Everso closely guarded line, strap yourself in for The duck and Roger the Horse!

That is a good haul especially the swirl. Last week the was a yearly market near me that always has a couple of vinyl stalls and I found a Dutch first pressing on vertigo swirl of the first Cressida album. It was a strong VG/VG for €95 which is a great price. Like you Harvest is my favourite label but I can't resist a swirl!

I have six albums in my collection by passport. Might also be worth checking out, if you haven’t already, the soundtrack to Das boot which features Klaus Doldinger, the main man in passport❤

I have that Triumvirat album, gifted to me by an old mate. You've picked up a very nice copy there, George. I'd have that Tim Buckley album. I only have it on CD. Another enjoyable record-buying jaunt.

Nice one! Rise Above is on my bucket list but bit of a mission to get to from South London where I'm based, ha just saw a new movie called Coyote vs Acme so nicely timed reference! Surprised you didn't already own Starsailor, that's an all time favourite of mine, absolutely bonkers and brilliant, I've got a UK first press on straight!

Hi George thanks for the video as I was watching I added to my Spotify Passport & Keith Tippet group as it is very unlikely I will ever find them in any record shops around my part of Devon.

Interesting records there, didn't know most of them (except Passport, Triumvirat and Tim Buckley).
Very patient doggy 🙂
