Fun fact about Nippert Stadium: It’s completely open to the public (as long as there isn’t a game or scheduled activity). Sometimes I’ll run the bleachers when I want some really good cardio.

As a former Texas Tech football letterman I’m so jealous of the Jones the kids get to play on now. I played in the late 90s early 2000s era at the start of the air raid stuff and all the renovations. Been back a time of two to watch a ball game. They really made this version of jones special. Iconic even. WRECK EM TECH.

Rating the stadium is certainly different than ranking the game experience.

What makes this better is knowing Gfed was likely editing this video when he ran into Ryan Trahan

we're 12posting

Tech has grass seating in the endzone also.

As a UC alum I wish you talked more about how the stadium is smack dab in the middle of campus and has complete access to it at any time. There is also a lot of tailgating area around and it gets loud as hell.

Sic "Em - Baylor did a hell of a job. It's a beautiful stadium. Looks massive when your driving southbound from Dallas on I-35.

Byu fan here, spot on , plus the stadium itself is old and the east and west bleachers, which are the major viewpoints have metal fatigue and are sagging so it’s not even level. Your drinks are always falling down into the area of your feet. We need a new stadium.

Drove down from KC to Waco for the KSU vs Baylor game last year. Loved their stadium, the setting on the Brazos, the proximity to downtown. Very cool experience!

Haven't ever been to David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, but every time I see those new blue endzones with the wheat design on TV I think they are the prettiest endzones in the sport.

I'm surprised Houston is over WV.  Last time I went to a game at TDECU the food options left much to be desired.
The only other from the list I've visited is Nippert. Houston played there for the AAC championship in early December,  and I  really liked my visit,  in spite of the game outcome.

jack trice stadium is also the only college football stadium named after a black man. fun fact. the story behind jack trice(the man) is insane

Good list but Nippert at 13 is so underrated, it’s one of the most unique stadiums in cfb.

I think the Camden Yards comp is to suggest that TCU's stadium will set a new benchmark and be imitated across the sport.

Also definitely agree on Baylor at #1. I was blown away when I traveled there. The concourses are so nice and so spacious, there is a lot of shade, and every spot felt premium.

BYU and Utah stadiums designed and built how they were because they ground they sit on was formerly a lake bed, so it's not a hard soil that can carry heavy loads.  So they have to build how they did to prevent sinking, which would cause massive issues.  I think they could still improve the exterior face with a Euro soccer style wrap that is lighter but looks good, but underneath is going to look the way they do for structural reasons.

Nippert is amazing. Super loud given the small size. Built down low, so it's easy to be outside of it and still see in. Tons of history. Right in the middle of campus and it's open to the public. It's an integral part of UC and its campus. It means something to the people there. Fun place. The "friendly confines" is what I call it.

Nippert feels low but I understand the ranking given the criteria.  I don’t know how you factor historic sites vs modern marvels.

Cinci Is the best. What a cool stadium. Nice channel. New follower
