The Balkans are to underrepresented in modern circles.
I suggest the following battles.
1. Velbuzd
2. Ankara
3. Kunovica (Duga vojna/long war/Varna crusade)
4. Sieges of Novo Brdo (Last city to fall in Serbia, even thought it was in Kosovo)
5. Plocnik
So many more there is a wealth of history here.
I am master tier Total War player, having beat every single campaign on the hardest difficulty setting (both campaign and battle difficulties set to the max setting) for every single faction on all their historical titles.
And I'm touched by this guy's renditions of warfare history. You've basically combined History Channel documentary quality using Total War game environments as your canvas. My hat goes off to you sir!
I've noticed in all your videos that when the heavy cavalry charges at enemy infantry, especially archers, they remain standing still. This doesn’t make much sense, as in such a situation, the infantry would likely flee the battlefield if completely exposed to a heavy cavalry charge.
