Sometimes brevity speaks volumes. This little gem is complete.....choices, control, brainwashing; all avoidable if people stay/work together.

attention grabbing right from the opening scene ,great musical narrative , Mr. Wollenberg had perfect vocal tempo .. he was captivating ,i was immediately drawn to his character  ... brava team .. brava .... superb work all

Excellent short film. Fine acting. Sparse conversation perfectly matched the sparsely vegetated wasteland and complemented the lack of knowledge on what exactly had happened -- thus leaving the story open to an array of possibilities Broken down structures were a good symbol for the man's broken mind. When he comes out of the broken structures to meet the older man, he gets water for nothing -- water, a good symbol for life and the need to go back for his family and fight the Order. The older man dies, perhaps symbolic of the death of the brainwashed self, with the cross on the grave symbolizing a rebirth of the man into his real life and a search for his family. The film can be read on many levels -- from the surface to the deeply symbolic. In all ways, excellent composition and acting.

Excellent movie, great actors, good plot. Wanna see more 😅

Really terrific. A captivating sci-fi short with minimal special effects, gizmos, space ships. You used almost nothing to tell a profound tale entirely relevnt for our times. I hope this gets more widespread.

I didn't think people still produced real movies anymore, using real actors, Bravo!

The sounds were fantastic. The wind, the sound of the  piano key stretching into a  violin note was spectacular. I'm just into about 5 minutes of it.

Job well done.   For about half the film : one man, no dialogue, desolate wasteland, competent editing, great background music and sound effects…..kept me interested.  
And the brief conversation between the two men allowed one to conjure up a picture of the society he escaped from.  
But am somewhat confused by the burial of the older gentleman and that he is obviously wearing that gentleman’s clothing.

Nice slow burn this is, good work.
