Why did this get over 10,000 views? Youtube's algorithms must be tripping.

You know what? Halo and Doom were supposed to have their own episodes of Secret Level, and Microsoft denied it. 3-6 minutes of animation and we can't even have that

The script for the show leaked a couple years before filming began and I remember laughing at how obviously fake it was.

Turns out it wasn't fake.

Kind of funny on 10:14. Christopher Judge came out and said, “My problem with all game adaptations is you have this pre-existing, successful property, and the first thing you do is not hire anyone associated with it,”...  "if you’re going to adapt games and do “shot-for-shot” remakes of them, hiring the writers behind them would be a smart move. “What are you thinking? These guys have been immersed in this world for 20 years, but someone’s gonna know better?” and I think just about anyone that played or worked on a game would think the same thing so it blows my mind when they just adapt stuff to do their own thing.

It pains me even more that they decided to use Madrigal as a major planet for the TV show, considering how little lore there is on it. It was essentially just an easter egg for one of Bungie's previous games - Myth, specifically the "Siege of Madrigal". They created a musical piece for the OST by the same name and included said track as an easter egg that can be found in all of Bungie's Halo games. They wrote the planet of Madrigal into the lore as an excuse for keeping the name of the song unchanged, and then 20 years later some Paramount exec decided to wipe his ass with it in a TV show.

Oh my God....an plague doctor vtuber....I have found my home

The whole point of the Spartans wasn’t to fight a war, it was for assassination ops against innie leaders to PREVENT the war. They thought that war was inevitable (that’s debatable) so they created the Spartans to surgically dismantle the innie operations before full blown interstellar civil war broke out. The covenant showing up EXACTLY when and where they did threw all those plans in the bin though

The actor for keyes would have been perfect to play Johnson, so why was our boy not in there but keyes was raceswapped? Makes 0 sense.

26:45 I think the thought process of creating the Spartans was that not only would they win against the insurrectionists they would also Most definitely strike a lot more fear into them so that nobody else would even think about insurrection.

14:25 As some one who has used Zoc Doc recently it does work and it is indeed devilishly fast. It was indeed like the only reason I ended up actually finding a dermatologist.

I feel like the look of cortana in Halo 4 was pretty well liked.

We’ve seen a major company kill this poor franchise to death before gta 6. What a time to be alive.

1:55 Halo Wars 2 is broadly considered to have been good and it's just inside your 10 year timeframe.

It was less that the UNSC couldn't defeat the Innies and more that they wanted to end them become a full on civil war broke out on a global scale, which was predicted by their AI to end with humanity as a whole being sent back to the stone age across multiple planets and colonies. The Innies had WMDs and were a genuine threat to human society. Imagine ISIS getting access to tactical nukes.

The thing about adding to the lore is that a few of the OG Halo books were written with the games in mind so that they could work alongside the games in a canon timeline.

Then Halo Reach came in and Bungie imploded the canon in on itself by essentially skimming the books and only taking the parts of the lore that they wanted.

Tbf, people ‘hated’ the arbiter sections of halo 2 because they were under the impression halo 2 would be on earth but instead there was like 1 mission on earth be for you go to his missions.

39:01 Maybe that's the real reason she went rogue😂😂😂

I have very recently found your channel, and I wish I found it sooner! I loved the video you're reacting too, and now I get to watch it again 🔥🔥

6:20 If you want to know some info on the Borderlands movie, Matt McMuscles has a good info on it.

46:50 funny you bring that up...Never comes up in the video but the first season claims this planet is the largest supplier of starship fuel for humans AND the covenant. How the covenant ships use the same fuel from the same planet as humans? Who knows and who cares, because season 2 has the planet getting blown up off screen.
