What was your favourite moment from Shrek and which out of the franchise is your favourite?!🍿

It's not Disney characters. Disney stole them!
It's mostly characters from The Brothers Grimm from Germany, Pinocchio is obviously from Italy.

This is basically revenge porn. The founders of Dreamworks were fired by Disneys CEO, and Lord Farquad is based on that CEO. ANd all the Disney characters are ortrayed more akin to their original stories than Disneys versions.

R.I.P Steve Harwell, lead singer of smash mouth, behind the opening song “all star”

Donkey is basically Shreks emotionally attached co dependent puppy dog.

I  ❤️  Shrek 1, 2 ,and 3 movies 🎬

You simply HAVE to watch Shrek 2, it's one of those rare sequels that may be better than the original.

Shrek is one the biggest animated movies of all times, bigger than all of those you mentioned 😅 like waaay bigger

Don't forget the ending credits scene for the sequel!! 😂😂😂

The whole 'you ain't never seen a donkeyfly' bit is a riff on the blackface crows in 'Dumbo' singing a song about seeing an elephant fly.

The cutest ASMR I could ever ask for

Oh my gosh your dog is so content ❤

If he making waffles he can stay with me forever

I don't think Disney actually owns those characters. They're public domain. So Dreamworks didn't need permission

Shrek has so many layers (like orges and onions!) Kids love the storyline and toilet humour, start noticing the other fairytale characters then as you grow up you notice all the adult jokes and pop-culture references. But as others have said Shrek 2 is a must watch!

Happy 25th Anniversary to Shrek

9:43 They're Disney characters they are the original fairytales.

Literary traditions, oral folklore, and earlier writers long before Disney films. Traditional fairy tales are older, darker, and vastly different from the sanitized, happy-ending versions popularized by Disney.

Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Little Red Riding are French fairytales written by Charles Perrault.

Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears are English fairytales written by Joseph Jacobs.

The Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, Pied Piper are both nursery rhymes.

The Gingerbread Man is writien by unknown author told by many children in the western culture.

Snow White is German written by The Brothers Grimms.

Pinocchio is actually a children's book not Necessarily a fairytale written by Carlo Collofi.

This movie was everyone's childhood. I just showed my animation-disliking mom it along with some other staples and she found it funny.

Oh my God, he is so cute (the dog is adorable too).

Great reaction man loved it , the shaking of fiona when shreks tryna wake her up kills me off lol 😂😂 cherrs for the laughs 😂😂
