37:35 You give poor Lex a really hard time & she’s just a kid. She and Tim are actually quite brave and resilient.

Also the Pirates of the Caribbean movie was based on the ride at Disney. The ride came first.

Pirates of the Caribbean is a ride at Disneyland, and it was there decades before the film - since the 1960s. It's full of old-school animatronic pirates - silly but fun.

You cannot imagine how I felt when i saw this in theathers with 6 or 7 yo. Changed my life as a kid. The movie, the gifts in flakes, merchandising, sticker albums, magazines... toys... simply makes me happy every time wheen I see a reaction, remembering these magical years of childhood.

Pirates of the Caribbean was originally an attraction at Disneyland, it opened back in the 1960s.

I saw this movie in the theater with my dad when it came out, I was like 10 or 11. I've loved it ever since ❤❤

Seeing it in 3D IMAX was utterly a mind-fk!

10:06 -- You're not alone in that, my friend! This came out when I was 13 years old and I can't count how many times I've seen it since, but when that brachiosaur lumbers into frame with its gentle but powerful call, and the way John Williams' soundtrack swells, I get misty-eyed without fail. Even after more than thirty years. ❤

I saw it during its initial release. I worked at the theatre so we got in for free. The movie was so busy that employees couldn't get in for three weeks. Even then it was packed. It was the first movie with digital sound. My most vivid memory was of the T-rex attack on the kids. The audience was dead silent and glued to the screen.
For the second movie I recreated the logo about 6 feet tall. The jaw and little arms moved. I wish I had kept it.
Take good care of Cooper!

LOL - when you were giving the chicken treat to the dog, you sounded like the Chamberlain from The Dark Crystal - "mmmmMMMmmmm!" 😆

40:15 The mention of "Pirates of the Caribbean" refers to the Disney park attraction, since apparently the films came after it and not the other way around, which is usually the case....
