What an abuse of true love to everyone in this beautiful family by an insipid cowardly monster!

Boy Caleb sure effed up his life. Beautiful wife and kids, 200k/yr, great in-laws and great dogs. Threw it all away.

Oh my heart. This man walked his daughter down the aisle, believing Caleb would take care of her. I'm sure he would rather Caleb had just given her back to him. I work in the field of infidelity and am thankful that most affairs don't end like this. Most marriages survive. Affair fog is real. Most people are NOT once a cheater, always a cheater. Statistics have proven that 85% of affairs, happen with a coworker. Even more than that, also begin along the lines of friends: a neighbor, a mutual friend, someone you see regularly at the gym, at church. It's common. As Dr. Willard Harley shared in a lecture long ago, the person who thinks he or she isn't capable of cheating, is the most likely to fall. Why? They won't protect themselves. We are always warned about friendships with someone of the opposite gender. Sadly, that advice is often rebuked. We hear prideful fools say they have had friends of the opposite gender their whole lives. So? You haven't been married your whole life. The vows are for better or worse, because worse happens to every marriage. THIS is when you need to be careful who you open up to. You may start out innocently venting about life ... the marriage, your spouse. You are stupidly giving the other person, the new friend, answers to the test .... she (or he) just checks all the boxes. Maybe a husband complains his wife is too tired all the time. She won't hike anymore. Guess what? His new friend loves hiking. She suggests they go! Maybe a wife complains her husband works too much. Guess what? Her new friend tells her that her husband is a fool. What he wouldn't do for a woman like her. These friends know how to triangulate against your spouse. By complaining, you TOLD them! You will be mirrored, validated, affirmed, flattered ... love bombing will come. The more you are validated, the more resentful you become. You start to paint your marriage as worse than it was. You will feel so heard, seen and understood by your new friend. That's the formula. That's how affair fog starts! The best friend delusion which is also known as the soulmate delusion. Our brains release a feel good chemical called dopamine when you encounter new. After being married 10/20 years - you see the good, bad, and kinda gross in your spouse. That's real life. You get sick. You get gassy. Sometimes you work hard, coming home filthy or sweaty. Maybe you had a bad day and you're cranky. We are open books to the spouse that we are so comfortable with! Now your new friend ... she's always made up, her mood is good. She's only telling you things you like. You're not seeing the bad yet. It's NEW!! You love how you FEEL in newness. You don't love a new person. You're confused. I wish people would wake up faster! Affairs are fake. You have real life with your spouse ... kids, bills, stress, sickness, boredom ... this new person appears as a clean canvas, new & easy ...  but it's false. I tell people to google 6 words: "Odds of an affair making it." They overwhelmingly don't. When you have an affair, you are not finding someone better. You are affairing down, in comparison to the person you cheat on. It's not your spouse lapping up leftovers, being a side piece, sneaking like a cockroach to text at certain times. Love makes you want to be a better person. It doesn't roll in filth with you. There's a saying we teach: "Love, benefits another, at the expense of self. Lust, benefits self, at the expense of another." There is NO love in any affair. I do not care. And if you are Christian ... adultery is condemned in scripture so often, it's not funny. Not just cheaters, affair partners too. People, wake up! Guard your marriage! Caleb threw away a beautiful life ... for demonic filth. His affair partner wasn't better. She's needy. She guilted him. Imagine ... she acts like her pain is worse, than Ashley's. An affair partner gets involved knowing about the spouse. The spouse is blindsided. She's gutted. Think about her texts ... she called Ashley douche, when Ashley did nothing to her. It wasn't just Caleb wishing Ashley dead, the mistress was forced to read a text where she said she wanted to kill her. And this person is so immoral that after the murder when people from church went to the Smith home to comfort Ashely's family ... Alleigha went too. Disgusting. She walked into their home, knowing her role in what happened. In proverbs, we are warned of Jezebel ... "She does not love God. She loves herself. She preys on weakness using flattery and enticement to destroy a home for her own gain. The path to her is death. Your wife, is a gift from God." God is not sending anyone a partner already married to someone else. Satan will. Caleb spat on the gifts God gave him. Sadly, many will now suffer because two people served Satan, not God. Thankfully, most people do not do this. Most marriages survive. Fog is fog. It's not going to last. I have worked with many betrayed spouses but also, very remorseful cheaters. They all say the same thing when it began as just friends ... they didn't see it coming. Often, the affair partner wasn't even attractive. The emotional is what led to the physical. Boundaries!!!! My mama adored my husband. She always felt she'd acquired an additional son when we married. I truly believe this poor man loved Caleb like a son. My heart truly hurts for this family.

What a precious Man and family. This is so unnecessary and so devastating. The way he keeps looking over at his wife🥹

A man of faith who puts aside his own thoughts to console his wife is rare. Like most Christians, they turn to their faith and want to believe the best in people. That a man they trusted and brought into their home was capable of the unimaginable is horrifying. Praying for their peace.

Poor father , gave that DOUCHE everything!! For the love of his daughter and loved him like a son. Ashley was beautiful and did Not deserve this. Rest well Ashley they got him!!
