This is one of the classics made by Taito and even converted for Japanese home computers like Fujitsu FM-7 and Sharp X1. I was interested about the X1 version, but since I didn't find it nowhere, I decided to play the original arcade game that is great too. Even graphics look better in the arcade version, since they're more detailed (as we say in Italy: When the fox can't reach the grapes, it says these are sour ROTFL).
It is a fixed screen Shmup divided in 5 phases enough different from each other.
In the first phase, you simply need to shoot at enemies;
In the second one you need to dodge the asteroids (you can even shoot at them);
In the third phase you need to dock into your base;
In the fourth one there are more enemies to kill;
and in the last one you need to destroy ufos and three missile containers in the moon.
Then, it restarts with a higher difficulty.
It's a great game I'm sure many people enjoyed in the past.
Even speech syntesis is cool in this game.
Enjoy my video!
