I'm a cisgender bisexual girl, but I remember one time in fifth grade I was just swinging on the swing set at school randomly thinking "I wish that I was a boy so that I could like girl's." This was before I figured out that girls could like girl's in a romantic way. That memory never fails to make me giggle 🤣

Guys, the girl I liked asked me out and I said yes! She's my first girlfriend and I'm so excited!!! Love your videos, Keara! You helped me come out to my parents and figure out that I'm gay. You gave me confidence and thank you so much!!

Sign I was gay: for years I would randomly just think "What if I'm gay? Hmm. That's unlikely, besides I'm too young to know. I'll worry about it when in older." I also thought something like that whenever the topic was brought up. That happened before the age of 12, when I really KNEW I wasn't straight.

😌 I used to tell my best friend "let's just kiss & pretend to be into each other, so the boys don't come near us"
Yip, I should've known then...

Instead of cute little diary entries about my crushes and feelings on boys in middle school I made freaking checklists and pros and cons charts and graphs to decide which classmate would be my crush

I’d  have obsessions with female characters in tv shows or movies ( still do) and then I’d get mad if they got boyfriends honestly I used to cry over it 👁👄👁🏳️‍🌈

when I was 8, me (nonbinary afab) and my friend at the time (female) said we loved each other and were going to get married when we were older. I didn't even consider that fact that we were both "girls" at the time (which may have been a sign that I was not, in fact, a girl).
heavily repressed that memory, then when I was 11 my mom asked me if I liked boys or girls and I said "how am I supposed to know, I'm 11".
when I was 12-13 I had a crush on a different friend who was also a girl (I still thought I was a girl at this point) but was very much in denial about it.
took me until I was 14 to finally figure out and accept that I wasn't straight. gotta love that internalized homophobia /s

childhood sign i was gay
was when i was like somewhere around 6-8
and i went up to my parents and was like "i think im bisexual, but i dont like boys"

When I had to wear a bra for the first time I cried. I couldn’t verbalize why at the time but I think it’s because I realized I wouldnt wake up in a male body

these are so relatable, I remember my boy obsessed friend asking me if I would ever do it with a guy and I was like "no I could get pregnant" and she goes "what if you didn't have to worry about pregnancy though" and I thought about it and I was like "nahh" 😭

when i was about 8 i had a best friend who i wanted to get married to so that we could live together forever (as friends) , and then when she made friends with another girl about a year later i was extremely jealous

The fact that I am 15 and very gay but had literally almost no signs when I was younger 😭😭

I wrote my art teacher a congratulations card for her engagement. I said, "I can see why your fiancé loves you" I'm not gay or anything (that I know of) but I love people for who they are.

Sharing mine in the comments! As a kid, I never knew what being gay meant. Not as in, I didn't know you could date the same gender, just in a, I didn't know there was a word for it way. My aunt is queer and when I was younger, she was dating another girl, so I always just assumed that everyone liked both without preference and just fell in love with someone purely based on personality. I basically assumed the whole world was pan. (Which just so happens to be my sexuality now!)

I call that the gay tingle 8:09

I literally used to hide in my closet. I made a bed in there, I had snacks and toys, it was great.

oh my god watching girls kissing on youtube as a kid is so real

im just really gay

I was always staring at the tv when the bikini commercial showed up and the barbies. So when i came out to my mom.. she was like GIRL i've known it since you were like 3 years old

I think my signs would be
1) My first significant other (2nd grade. Then we dated again 4-6 grade) was very feminine. They identify as genderfluid now.
2) Like someone else in the video I chose which guys I crushed on.
3) I listen to Melanie Martinez.
4) I only liked listening to women singers.
5) I only liked watching movies/shows with women in the lead.
6) The final thing that made me realize it was the way I looked at my favorite singers and my thought was “do I want to be them or do I want to be WITH them?” And then I started thinking about life and thought like “why should someone’s gender affect whether or not I like them?”
Im pansexual atm but questioning.
