Supportive parent here! We live in a SMALL midwestern town in a red state. When my daughter came out we were so happy I got with a queer friend and organized our city’s first ever Pride festival! Hundreds of people attended and next year will be our fourth and it keeps growing!

I remember I had lots of affection towards all girls and wondered why are they so invested and interested to talk about boys lol

Fun fact: I was looking at photos of me when I was around six, and I remembered that my favorite dress was orange on the top with pink on the bottom. My room had an orange wall, a white wall, and a pink wall.

When I was at Disney World as a kid, Snow White kissed my cheek and left a lipstick stain and I refused to wash my face afterwards. I was 5 lol

When I was 10 I would talk to my friends about living together as adults because we refused to think that we would get boyfriends.

When I was like 7 I kissed my best friend for school. I remember thinking she is so pretty and if boys can have a girlfriend why can't I haha

I asked my mom if I could be a rainbow for Halloween when I was like 13 (rainbows are one of my special interests lol) and she said “if you do that people will think you’re gay” and I earnestly was like “oh damn you’re right” 😂

not like childhood signs but a funny story: in spanish class we had a quiz and one of the questions was what celebrity would you take on a date? and i sat there racking my brain for a male celeb’s name when i really just wanted to put olivia wilde or alyson hannigan 😭

When I was 7, I got kissed in the bathroom. We dated until she moved. I was in second grade lmao

I was not breastfed, but some random lady at my nursery showed me how the milk came out when she was feeding her baby, and I was FASCINATED. I was 5, and I remember everything 😂

This is extremely off topic but I feel like it’s worth sharing. I have 2 lesbian teachers at my school (who are actually married btw) and it brings me so much joy. I live in the south so most of my teachers are straight and christian. I really wish I could tell them (I’m in one of their classes rn) that I also like girls and think they are absolutely awesome!

When i was 6-7 i was obsessed with this movie character, watched the film she was in every single day until i got tired of it and ended up just fast forwarding to the parts she was in and watching that on repeat 😭😭

I think the real eye opener for me that made me know that I was definitely sapphic in some way was how after I found out gay people exsisted, I started thinking about getting married and having a relationship more AND IT WAS ALWAYS WITH GIRLS. And for context, I had never thought of ever dating a guy, kissing a guy, or marrying a guy ever except maybe once or twice when I was like 7.
