"You looked better when you were a child"
Wanna take a seat and explain me that?

To quote Sofia Isella, “everybody wants you to love yourself, until you actually do”

That's not an F sharp, that's a Relax G

The worst part of the hate around selena is the fact that it's public knowledge she has lupus. And a simple google search can tell you all the horrible things that disease does to your body but they still make fun of her

People got BIG MAD at Jennifer Lawrence for saying that in Hollywood she’s considered fat. And she was right! We will never address eating disorders and medically unsafe thinness regimes while we blame the victims rather than the cycles of abuse and control that victimise.

So, I'm a teacher, and I once had a conversation about "Knowing you Colors" with a few girls in 5/6th grade. We decided that the best colors (and clothing shapes and all of that) on you are always gonna be the ones that you like best, because that glow you get when you wear the things that make you happy will make you look 10x better than anything you only wear because a stranger said you were supposed to.
One of the girls agreed that, clearly, dressing head-to-toe in bright pink (glasses included!) was her best color, and I could't agree more. :)

Feels like the internet started as a cool place to show off cool stuff and create little communities around niches, and now it's 99.9% about trying to sell you something. Money and power truly do corrupt absolutely.

i think it’s important for some people to remember you don’t need to post literally EVERYTHING like it’s so okay to have a life offline

When the internet exhausting, you have to bing bong bing bong.

As I guy I can even relate to ur male point. Literally I can like 1 IG reel related to men, and the algorithm floods me with Andrew Tate and Sneko type content

"Oblivious middle aged man that clearly doesn't own a mirror critiquing the body and face of a major celebrity that wouldn't sneeze in their general direction" has to be my favorite baffling genre of people.

absolutely sobbing with laughter at you full screen blasting the men's profile pictures from their god awful comments. doing the lords work.

i can't explain, but i feel that after the pandemic, it seems that people on the internet are ALWAYS finding SOMETHING to be upset about, no matter how mundane it is. it's why i stopped going on twitter often because everyone is so MISERABLE on there.

4:37 obviously she had the light surgically removed from her eyes.

18:57 At some point people stopped saying "I don't like this" and felt like they had to make a scientific reason as to why they're correct

As a guy, it's crazy how quick the algorithm defaults to "sexist red pill crypto dude bro" content. Like, I once clicked on a Youtube video without reading the title carefully enough, and it ended up being some incel brainrot video.  However, immediately the algorithm started suggesting incel content to me over and over again. Even weeks later, Youtube was still suggesting it to me even though I never clicked on any of the videos. I'm 34, so my brain and worldview were already solidified before this stuff became mainstream. It must be terrifying to be an impressionable teenager and have this garbage peddled to you all day every day

Ah yes, the internet criticism... I remember when I shared a video of my cat walking on a leash in the city.
"Cats aren’t meant to be on a leash."
"Animal cruelty."
"How would you like to be on a leash?"

And here I thought rescuing a stray cat, giving it a chance to enjoy the outside safely on a leash, would be a nice thing to do...

social media has just rotted people's brains, people who share negative thoughts already had them, now they just have the power (and according to them the authority) to do so
