It’s been a while since the rumours for Gremlins 3 started doing rounds all over the internet alleys, but finally there’s like some major updates and it doesn’t any more sound like someone’s cousin’s roommate heard a whisper at Comic-Con kinda thing. We know that the studio has to put a date on a calendar, along with several other pieces of info. The original 1984 movie followed the story of a young boy receiving a cute little creature, but soon all hell breaks loose as the creature breeds and leads to more of its kind, who then wreak havoc around Billy’s town during the Christmas season. Steven Spielberg was the executive producer and the movie made over a hundred and fifty million dollars at home, making it Warner Bros.' highest-grossing movie until Batman replaced it 5 years later in 1989.
