If Boyega is in it, it will be a write off. That guy is pure vinegar syndrome.

First one is my all time favourite movie I love it. I just literally now re watched uprising, not as bad as I thought it was when I first saw it, glad I rewatched it after all these years of a such negative opinion on it.

We want a "Pacific Rim"
Video Game, inside an
Armored Core Box / Engine !

First one was great. The robot movement feels real. Every impact is felt. Every tonne of metal move, the ground vibrate. The second one is too cartoonish. No realism. Hopefully the third one is better.

Out of all the Caillou and mech franchises this is one of if not the most unique

How about the aliens having their own mechs they start sending the Earth after some of the Kaiju are freed

I would rather have a crossover of the monsterverse and pacific rim

The cross over should only happen if Toho is also part of the plan.

I remember not hearing about pacific rim until I saw it at best buy as a new release. It looked cool and I had just bought a 3D TV with the player and a sound system so figured Id check it out. It blew me away and I feel like the marketing must have been crap for the theater release. Ive watched that movie so many times.

Then the second one came out. No more 3D but I had a new 4k tv so bought that. Worst 20$ I ever spent. Boyegas character wasnt likeable and came off as an entitled brat in a mans body. Before, it took world governments coming together to build Yeagers, now a 15 girl can do it alone? Dumb and disappointing. A third has to have Del Torro and Charlie or it too, will be crap.

Unless Guillermo is running the show, it's going to bomb epically.
2nd one royally f'cked everything up.
Has some good action, but it was like it was trying to mix Gundam with enders game with Godzilla.......
Other than few characters and names it wasn't pacific rim

Wait. When did they make a second one. 😉

What do you mean 3? There was never a Pacific rim 2...right...RIGHT!? Right.

It's not happening, you are all just listening to some guy talking nonsense for 13 minutes.

Uprising was ok of ya shut your mind off and just enjoy giant monsters fighting giant mechs, but it lost everything that made the first movie great, lost the scale, lost the edge of Del toro, lost the characters we were invested in and killed the only character we actually invested in. Let's be honest though the story for both movies were about the same depth
