I feel like 90% of the things I hear are just common sense and wouldn’t be an issue for most people if they have manners

I love how the most terrifyingly strict-looking guy in the video is the one whose overall opinion is "Life is more fun if you let loose a little."

“It’s good to be proper and follow rules, but if you’re too bound by rules, life becomes less enjoyable.” Beautifully put.

I moved to Japan a few months ago. If you’re in a store and looking for something in particular, search for a picture on your phone, show it to an employee and say “Suimasen, kore arimasu ka?” which just means “excuse me, do you have this?”

Old guy in military uniform was a lot more chill than I expected him to be. He seems like a cool guy to have a conversation with.

Bro even foreigners hate how many foreigner tourist's there are now

That one guy saying "Try not to approach locals with english" was actually an answer I was searching for because I wasn't too sure if they would rather hear me talk with my broken N4 Japanese or just english, so Im really glad that you did this interview!!

More than 10 years ago, during my first time in Japan, I forgot my iPad in the open basket of my bike. I had parked the bike right beside a crowded street in Kyoto. I was inside the mall for quite some time when I suddenly remembered where I had left it. I immediately went back, not expecting the iPad to still be there. But it was. Untouched.

“But once you’re friends, everyone’s the same.” That’s a beautiful sentiment.

06:33 My wife and I visited Japan last year. At one point I left my camera on a shinkansen by accident. Another time my wife's phone fell out of her pocket and was left behind on a train. In both cases our items had been turned in to a lost and found within less than an hour and we were able to retrieve them easily. We were absolutely blown away by this. In America we quite likely never would have seen them again.

"Patriotism and international cooperation are not contradictory" wish more people thought like that

To get the most nuance from the dude dressed as a WW2 soldier is the most incredibly refreshing thing I've seen in a very long time. Please do more content with him!!

Now  is the season of cherry blossoms. I saw some foreign tourists pulled branches to take photos with cherry blossoms.  That behavior is very bad.  Don't touch or pull branches or flowers.  This is a very basic rule to enjoy Cherry blossom in Japan.

I love how the dude in the WW2 uniform is the most open to foreign culture and tourism.

Don't be a Johnny Somali or a Logan Paul.

Yo, asking us to understand Keigo 尊敬語 and how to speak various levels to our elders is out of this world! I'm pretty fluent, but dang

Omg that absolute DIVA with the fluffy earrings is my style icon of the year.

Respect. Thats the key when you visit another country. Ask, watch and learn. Be open and be thankful with the people who open their country to you.

I was skeptical of the guy dressed as a soldier at first but he's super cool, one of the coolest ppl you've interviewed yet.
