The Bowtech Alliance is the 2026 flagship from Bowtech with many of the same tuning features we’re accustomed to from Bowtech in a lighter package. We’ve got a beefed up Deadlock tuning system as well the Deadlock limb pockets and Deadlock adjustable grip. The Flip Disc draw length module offers Comfort and Performance options which result in two bow performances in one bow just by flipping the modules over.

Respect to PJ for the honest speed test

Shoutout to PJ for an honest review he said he wasn’t to thrilled with the limited options for mounting system, grip, the draw cycle and mentioned the timing system wasn’t the most effective. While highlighting weight, good hold on target, grip adjustability and improvement to wheeling system.. this review is what the people want 🙏

The "centermass" mount doesn't move any noticeable weight toward the center. It only moves the lightest part of the site toward the center, the dovetail extension. The head of the sight is still going to be in the same place, over the top of the arrow. No matter where you have to sight mounted, inside or outside of the riser, the sight head will still be in the same location.

The reason Mathews had to use the "bridgelock" mount is that they make such a long riser and to beef it up. They had to bridge the riser out wider to strengthen it. Since the risers are so thick, this pushes the sight mount further out from center, and this can cause problems with some sights not having enough outer windage adjustments to cover the fact that the sight is pushed so far out from center. So, Mathews just put the sight mount thru the center of the riser to bring it into a better spec for sight windages.

None of this is new technology. High Country back in the mid 90's had the Excalibur that had a dovetail machined into the riser to eliminate the mounting bracket. But this created a problem because the sight was now too close to center and you didn't have enough inner windage to bring a scope over the top of the arrow.

you say you don't like the grip and it isn't affecting your shooting, it looks to be helping you

I bought my Realm SR6 after watching your reviews and have just ordered an Alliance after watching this one a dozen times.

Awesome review. Noticed they took the Core SR and Core SS completely off of their website. 😮

These newer bows have longer risers and more parallel limbs. That’s where the stability comes from, especially shooting longer ranges. A 30 inch bow today has about the same length riser as the 35 inch bows of 10 years ago. You’re getting a better more stabile design in a shorter overall package.

Not sure but looks like the cams have that hard "S" bend that some of their bows had in the past that chewed up serving and cables.

Kind of funny they named this bow the Alliance when Bowtech as a company keeps making decisions that contradict that name.

Thing reminds me of a Hoyt nitrum.

I wonder when PSE few year ago did a Green NTN with not paint coated threads it was said as poor painting or not fully ready product rushed to production and now we are in 2026 and got same think on Bowtech. Maybe finally someone with say that fit i better on threads where there is no paint inside them and should be no hate on it :)
