I can't wait for Chapter 7 to show us that the Knight was just the annoying dog all along and that Deltarune was just a fever dream Chara had after poisoning themselves

deltarune community vs being open to knight candidates that don't line up with their own

I don't think Asgore thinks Asriel coming back will fix his marriage, I interpreted that as he hopes Asriel can come back and see the marriage is fixed

Toby says asriels at college and it creates a Clark Kent situation where nobody can see the evidence to him just being the roaring knight

sees an Asriel knight theory
Clicks in the blink of an eye

I actually really like this theory; even more evidence for it is that it thematically fits really well, too. Asriel's desire to find Dess even though she's lost to the dark highlights one of the core themes of the game being letting go and having the antagonist reflect that by NOT letting go of the past fits really well.

i love how more AND MORE people consider asriel is the knight!! ty eddy c, but there is really more evidence ❤

everyone keeps talking about dess and the baseball references but can we talk about the fact that asriel has a literal pile of trophies in his room that he had to win somehow. and if dess played baseball with anyone growing up it was probably asriel

Always bet on Asriel knight

if theres one thing i know about asriel, he did NOT just "get over it", either he did do or is currently doing something very significant to try and get Dess back, you cannot convince me asriel "i dont want to say goodbye to a friend like you again" dreemur was able to be the only one who could move on. i think its plausible that he's the knight, and if he isnt he still probably had massive influence on the events currently in motion

Susie was always a replacement sacrifice for Noelle.

people refuse to take AsrielKnight seriously because if they did, they'd immediately realize how likely it is.

I also think Asriel spending so much time in the darkworld would explain how crazy powerful the Knight is, hes basically been grinding gear and levels in what is probably the most treacherous darkworld (the bunker) searching for Dess all these years.

They're making so many theories of asriel/Kris/a holiday knight only to hide that the knight is an amalgamation of papyrus and gaster

For the variable at 1:50 it could be argued than turning off the toriel variable makes even more sense for Asriel since she's his mother and main parental figure, her being away or not paying attention to him thus allowing him to turn into this more explicit version of the knight which is a black deer makes complete sense, especially since now that he is at college he really is away from Toriel

@Cheesegang 2 weeks ago

15:24 you misinterpreted this line. Asgores saying that he hopes his relationship with Toriel is mended before Asriel comes back from college, not that Asriel will do something to fix it

@jekuli2062 2 weeks ago

There's an unused sprite of Asriel screaming in the official Undertale art book, which looks almost exactly like the roaring knight's roar at it's final attack. This could probably be used for further evidence to support the Asriel knight theory.

I'm unsure if I really buy Asriel Knight as one of my favorites, but they share the theme of "you failed to learn anything"/"you wouldn't learn anything" if you examine the knight/decide not to open Asriel's room in Castle town.

@jerm_x.6845 2 weeks ago

theres just more evidence than any other canadate and is 100 percent in tobys writing for asriel to be the literally first character we are told about in chap 1, it just has toooooo much evidence

I also don’t think the knight gang are actually trying to hurt anyone, especially the fun gang.
Alvin is the reason why gerson was in the Titan fight, so that they could actually win.
And if the knight wanted to, they could’ve just killed the fun gang. That way they can cause the roaring without any hero’s to stop it…
I think all parties involved are trying to make the fun gang strong enough to stop the roaring.
It doesn’t matter who is the knight, what we should be asking is their plan
