I’d turn the engine off when you bring the wheels up. If you lean on the gear lever or the boat rocks and you knock it with your hand down there it could end badly.

Very informative for new SIB owners! Nice work

Excellent thank you. 👌

One tip that I would offer is to shorten your painter so that it doesn’t reach as far as you propeller.

nice vid, but couldn't help notice the bolts sticking through the transom hahah, please cut them down and stick rubber caps on them :)

Great Video 👍

If you run the engine in such shallow water, I think sand and gravel could be sucked into the cooling water pump, and it may get damaged quickly… those are my concerns.

Why don't you push it into the water backwards, with wheels going forward?

Nice job crocodile dun dee

What are the basic things to know or have when you go on water

Is that a T38 ? How would you rate them ? Great Video😃

First we need inform others that launching from the beach is not allowed everywhere, so first what we can do we can check local law or contact with harbour, marina or council because sometimes are designated  places, different for kayaks or sailing, (PWC) Persnal Water Craft. We need usually use slipway and pay around £15 free plus car park car and trailer for £10 depending on place or you can be liable for a fine up to £2500 for failure to obtain valid permit.

Someone ask about licence, so in UK we do not need to private use boat any licence if boat have not electric instalation or insurance but we need know about collision regulation etc also personal licence is not reqiured.
It is recommended to have life jacket and YHF radio and mobile phone for any emergency situation.

Canals and rivers has different rules.

Second, start engine outside boat and without kill switch on it is very bad behaviour.

Look, when you start by pulling pull start cord you can switch easy gear so what you will do in stress when this hapen? Another problem is that you jum in from garmin side (starboard) so you can hook up on garmin. Oposite side (port) is clear.

Third, everybody pushing bacwards because it is natural when you landing on the beach, so you can also show how you coming back? Backward?

Some people use watersports and come back on the beach a few times and do not turn boat on the beach or jetski etc. This is same like going to the water from ladder forward and come back on board backward.

If someone is self good thing is launch backward because wheels or/and  motor will up faster up in the water and you can still control boat with engine off and jump from (bow) front of boat or on your boat from port close to bow, I can not imagine big vawes and launching boat.

Please do not think that I writing here comment to discredit you. It is always good echange experience and inform others about other point of iew so everyone can decide what option choose.
Generally if someone will do it first time.

Hope that my comments help you reach more likes and subscribers and that others join to the comments what also can help display more your channel.

Please visit other places and slipways and inform others about prices etc because I didnt find films like that what can be very helpful for starters usually.

Thanks for videos and take care.

Hi.  Thats obviously Harwich beach where you launch from.  Is it tide dependent or can you still get in & out at low tide? Any other suggestions for launch points local to that area?  Wondered about felixstowe ferry on the Deben. (PS im miles away but thought about visiting) PPS. I used titchmarsh marina before.

Great wee video 👍🏻Whats the make of wheels you have ?

Hi, can this hold a bigger rubber boat with size 2m x 4m? it's quite heavy and im concerned it may damage the boat.

What sort of conditions is that 6HP safe upto? I take it if the current is too strong or waves too big then it might not get onto plane?

Is a 6hp engine enough power for inshore fishing. Thinking of getting a suzuki 6.

Do you need a boat licence for a small sib if you wanted to go up an inland river. I was looking at the river Arun in Littlehampton.

Nice video pal , can I ask what make wheels your using as they don't seem to interfere with the bottom of the boat and the Honda ones are £200 😳😳
Thanks 😊

Would you recommend  an electric motor at sea ?
