I'm in Colorado that usually has something like 3% humidity and can get very hot in the summer. You have to wrap your ceramics in plastic and just let a tiny amount of air in so they dry slower.  If I want the piece to be workable the next day I might add a wet sponge next to the piece underneath the bag.  The clay sucks the water out of the sponge. It's just standard practice here due to the weathe.

Great last mug too. I love that Albany S.B. combo. thanks

Hello beautiful Kay❤❤❤great kiln opening 💕I love your tall mugs!! Beautiful glazing Kay💕all my love to you xxx

Hey Kay. Great KO, especially loving your tall mugs & mushrooms. Cute slug 🐌

Beautiful opening.  The tall mugs are very nice.

The slug is so cute lol. I LOVE your mushroom mugs! ❤❤

Love everything in your kiln!  Love that ASB mug.  Mushies are great!!!🥰

What a cute slug! Love love love ❤️ your tall mugs but I can see how it would be hard to reach to the bottom. I hate when stuff drops in from who knows where 😮 great cheetah mug too 🎉 hot weather definitely makes it hard to dry things evenly☀️

Hi Kay, your glazing is beautiful…as is your pottery skills! I love the mushies, and the tall mugs are fantastic!!😍💕

Kay just awesome and Love the pieces and your T-Shirt. My house key is Nightmare Before Christmas. I smile every time I unlock my door. Thanks for sharing and have a rockin’ day!

Very beautiful kiln reveal Kay. All pieces so pretty, the 2 sides leaf plate needs a bit more as you say, i agree. And it is a beautiful plate. A beautiful concept. No matter about the berries and the acorn. The bee water dishes are so sweet and pretty. The Lotus flower is beautiful. Love the colour. The tall mugs love them. All little pieces mushies and gnomes gorgeous. Love the slide show at the end.
Great kiln Kay, and i love Jack & Sally, but you already know 😉
xx

Enjoyed the opening very much. The cheetah/ASB combo works so well! As does the Birch/Cordo/Flux combo. So beautiful. I'm sure the refires will be successful, because the pieces already look good. Cheers to you and stay cool!

Hey Kay!! Great vid. The tall mugs r my faves. Nat xx

Such a beautiful kiln load.  I love those tall mugs and beautiful glazing that you do!  So sorry that it's so hot there and hope you cool off soon!

Your oak and holly, the acorn is absolutely fabulous.  Your birch, flux cordovan combo is one of the best I’ve seen… beautiful 🎉.  Have you considered making a damp box for when it’s warm?  A wonderful kiln opening… thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

Hiya Kay 🥰 love your mushrooms!!! Thanks so much for the mention xx I so love the tall mugs 🤩😍 I’ll swap you some heat for our cold brrrr everything here is taking ages to dry lol xx

Ooh love the mugs Kay

The rose quartz and lemon combo is pretty. I also really the ASB and cheetah combo. It’s 106 degrees here today so I’ll stay inside with my air conditioning!

Oh Kay I love your tall mugs and I can see why they sell 😊 I did a small test cup with Sandstone and Albany slip brown and it ran like crazy which looks very similar to the Cheetah and seem more stable which looks lovely ☺️

First 🎉💛💛💛
