Thank you so much, Kay! There couldn’t have been a more perfect mug for me. I love the style, I love the colours, and most of all, I love the meaning behind it. I fell in love with this piece the moment I saw it, and I’ll be so proud to add it to my collection. I already had my first coffee in it this morning at my little Potclays parking lot pop up café! ☕️🥰 Thank you so, so much. I’m absolutely overwhelmed. ❤️

Beautiful Kay...love the obsidian enchanted forest ..gorgeous!  Hate that about the cauldron mug...so is the eggplant.  cheetah...pretty! Wonder what happened in the kiln! Well just saw where you said what it was. Dang

Oh so sorry about the explosion.  There were some lovely pieces too though.  I had one of those kiln unloads yesterday, no explosion but lots of yuk pieces.
I use a fine #200 grit sanding pad and oil ( I use spray cooking oil) and rub over the bottom of all my pieces , you get a super smooth finish. It might work on the tall mug with roughish surfaces.

I’m sorry Kay with the nasty blobs inside your mugs!! I was watching your video while I was unloading my kiln and I was having lots of pinging too! For me it’s the river birch and ancient copper which always tests just fine with no crazing 😊
