A gem of a list. Cheers 👍👏🥃

Just a request - it'd be great if you kept the name or picture of the bottle you're talking about on the screen for the duration, it helps if you're skipping back and forth through the video. Or at least keep it on screen for more than a few seconds so it can be found in the timeline

The entire Signatory range that they are releasing at the moment is class.  I have the Signatory (M) 13 year old that is spectacular and also bought the 16 and 17 year old.  Add a Ledaig 6 that they released at 55 euros in my market (Netherlands) which is fantastic.
But I had to comment on the 99 and 1 from Living Souls.  I bought a bottle on a whim because I absolutely love Ledaig 18.  The neck pour of the Living Souls might have been the worst I have ever tasted.  But since then, it just gets better and better and I wish I would have bought a few more bottles.  Got to agree that it is the number ONE!!!
If you want just good value bourbon cask, age stated whisky, you have to go a long way to beat the Arran 10.  And the new 14 finished in Palo Cortado, although a little more expensive is also outstanding.  In fact I would go as far as saying most of the Arran stuff is great value.

Whiskeys, so Irish and US, right?

Great video. Best value I've seen recently was Bruichladdich Classic Laddie 10 year old for £33 in UK supermarkets

The 99 and one is absolutely delicious. I have one bottle left. Cheers.

Hi Ash, thanks for bringing the 99 and 1 to my attention again...I assumed it was sold out, but manage to snaffle a bottle in the last few days for £55, and it's now staring at me from my whisky cabinet, begging to be drunk! Best wishes, and keep up the good work.

Hey,
Big peat! Under the radar gem. For my pallet this beat every core range entry-level on Islay with same specs or less.

In Canada we generally pay more for everything scotch except craigellachies weirdly enough.  The 13 is often on sale for $55 cad and the 17 for just over $100.  100 quid for the 17 is outrageous

Symmington's Blend for sure

Since being at the Limburg whisky festival this year with some wonderfully knowledgeable Aqvavitae barflies I decided to concentrate on Indi bottlers for the rest of the year.Signatory,Cadenheads,Berry Bros and Rudd etc are bringing out some fantastic bottles for very good prices.
Maybe see you at Limburg next year ?

Dude, love these picks….and prices ! I do wish we’d have all of them in the U.S. ( especially that sherry Ledaig ! ). I mean Eagle Rare of course is a classic, great choice.
Heading to the U.K. soon actually, so any suggestions (besides these), what I should pick up while I’m there please let me know ! Cheers !

Oo i have that 18 year single grain. Bought it from Germany too. I believe it is the same store, they just have the same online store in my country 😅 sadly prices are higher cause they add my country's taxes not Germany's. I wish i could buy Laphroaig 10 cask strength for such price. It's 100€ in my country

Check out this one: Adelphi Private Stock Reserve Peated 46% vol.

Circumstance Single Grain whisky £45 - better than scotch at twice the price!

Great video but maybe reduce the use of the word Guys.

Irish. The original whiskey and still the best.

First of all, I totally agree about the Living Souls' Ledaig 18. It’s not only one of the whiskies I’ve enjoyed the most in the last few years, it’s also absurdly cheap.

Right now, I’d say the champions of price-to-quality ratio are the Signatory Vintage 100 Proof range. They’re all around €50, most of them are around 12 years old, all bottled at CS, and most of them are heavily sherried.

Apart from those, if I had to pick 10 Scotch bottles with an excellent price-to-quality ratio that are also relatively easy to find, in no particular order I’d go for: Ledaig Rioja Casks, Tamnavulin Double Cask, Glen Scotia Double Cask, Deanston Virgin Oak, Ballechin 10, Speyburn 10 (the 46% version), Inchmoan 12, Tobermory 12, Glen Garioch 12, Edradour 10, and any Meikle Tòir (the last five only if you can find them for under €50).

And then there are a few blended malts, such as Campbeltown Loch, CRN57º 12 and Naked Malt.

Outside Scotland, I’d say Nikka From The Barrel (the regular one, not the Extra Marriage), Connemara NAS, DYC 12 (from Spain), Nantou Omar Sherry Casks... also surprisingly cheap for what they offer.
