The Truth About The Moon Landings

Everyday Astronaut

There are honestly some decent and common questions about the Apollo program’s moon landings that I figured we should check out ourselves. Because there’s no denying things from the Apollo program look unusual and are quite literally foreign to us in all other contexts.

I really don’t need a 2+ hour explanation of proof we went to the moon.
I’ll happily watch every minute.

Man, the internet needs this kind of stuff like never before.

Kubrick was so good at his job even the astronauts believed they went there.

Dude, how dare you make me watch such quality content for two hours without ads? 😢

A professional photographer in a Soviet flight suit taught himself orbital mechanics and hundreds of other key skills in order to present the public with this information in such a digestible way. Thank you Tim for all you’ve done to educate the public over the years!

You should have won an Oscar for this. This is hands down the most informative + entertaining breakdown of any mission ever.

Tim. A few years down the line, there will be thousands and thousands of young people and, no doubt, a few astronauts and/or Nobel Prize winners that will mention you as one of the reasons they went into science. Let that sink in, and keep up your great work.

Been waiting for this for ages, can't imagine the work it took to produce it so thanks in advance!

No distracting music
No overly animated sequences
No distractions
Excellently narrated

Simply the Best Space video ever made.

Boys, you are hours away from dealing with Apollo deniers to Artemis deniers.

This is the most monumental effort in creating a youtube video I've seen as far as science education goes. I have been asked many of these questions and I wasn't able to answer all of them and certainly not as good. This will be a go-to explanation in years and decades to come.

Thanks Tim, awesome work!

If there is one thing I wish to add to this great work is subtitles in as many languages as possible. Many people who need to see this don't understand English.

I never doubted the moon landings until I saw the fact check under this video.

It takes a certain kind of moxie to write, shoot, edit, and publish a nearly 2.5 hour video replete with science, math, and common sense to debunk false arguments and theories that were based on none of these principles. YouTube doesn’t reward this kind of content but I hope humanity does. Bravo Tim! Bravo

I feel almost privileged to have been a wide eyed nerdy teenager through those lunar landing years. It provided the impetus to become a rocket engineer, 40 years now retired.
