idk why people were upset about that tome lore for Nurse, like is it a surprise that a bad person has the worst kind of world view?

Caleb/Deathslinger’s story is absolutely based on the real life case of Phineas Gage, a railroad worker who (in a very grisly accident) had the hemispheres in his brain severed by a tamping iron, but survived. It apparently completely changed his personality, but he kept on living for like 15 years or so as a healthy functional man, just an asshole.

The artist and spirit didn't deserve their fates

I've always found the implication that Caleb wouldn't kill the survivors without being manipulated by the entity, showing a more human characterization as a hardworking man done wrong who's led down a path of violence by revenge.
I wonder how Caleb would act towards the survivors without being manipulated.

DBD Kaneki is a Kakuja far earlier than he is supposed to be in the series as well.
And due to the fact he ate YAMORI his Kagune got borderline overloaded and his constant screaming is due to that.
Ghoul cannibalism messes with the RC Cells of the Kagune. Hence why his Kagune looks like a blister. The Entity isn’t the reason for his behaviour, it’s the fact he’s become a Kakuja in both terminology and the fact that his Kagune is clearly growing up his back.

Interesting theory about the Artist: Because crows do not actually live in Chile (where she's from) the theory is that the crows she was interacting with were the entity trying to keep her alive to bring her to the realm later.

The Dracula of Castlevania not only became a vampire lord, but rather the Avatar of Chaos as a concept, with his selfish theatrics often pushing him to do more extreme measures for his “revenge”, from rejecting God after his wife passed away from an illness from being sick to now subjecting humanity to extinction because of the Wallachian peasants crucifying her.

However, when creating the stone, it requires a vampiric soul as a conduit, for Dracula, it’s for a stone that gives him vampirism and power of chaos, for the Belmonts, the power to destroy all evil even at a divine level in the form of an alchemical whip, they once entrust each other lives but what Dracula did was unforgivable, the Belmont now sworn to hunt the night and shoulder the weight of humanity as long as Dracula wanders this world.

And they did succeeded, Dracula who was slain in 1999 was completely disconnected from Chaos, was supposed to died permanently, either resting in hell or… reincarnating as a white hairy guy name Soma Cruz look the Japanese Shinto priests and Maidens  was the one who seal the Castle off alright? But the Fog managed to get to him before he decide to pass on fully, sure, Dracula could just leave but why would he? He finally get the chance to kill the man who first killed him, Trevor Belmont here without much struggle, and so he stayed, doing what he knows best, indulging in his ego.

You know who else the Unknown is MY MOOOOOM.

Classic Muscle man.

5:53 Btw if you’re confused what “working as a lumberjack” leads to, he was killed on the job.

Slight error with Afton: it is likely he was in that room for less than a decade, as it states nowhere that he was in that room for 30 years, only that FNaF 3 takes place 30 years after a Freddy's closure.

I wouldn't be surprised if they got Huggy or the Prototype from Poppy's Playtime as future killers in this game.

I find Spirit and Oni be interesting dynamic.

Idk why they didn't just have pyramid head be what the entity forced james to become, since, ya know, he's a killer. So him being forced to become his manifestation of his worst qualities seems narratively obvious dor DBD specifically. Even if it's still a stretch of SH lore, it would at least make more sense than pyramid head existing without james.

About Jason though there are a few bits of information that firmly creates the chronology

1. DBD Jason is mostly the same as regular Jason, a little boy from New Jersey who was thought dead then came back as an adult, died and came back to life with supernatural powers and now spends his time killing people because he hears the voice of his sadistic dead mother in his head. This comes from Jason's addons which are references to the Friday movies as its the case with other licensed killers

2. Jason was simply roaming around Greenville and was looking to attack a camper in the woods, unfortunately for him this is the same camper from the All Things Wicked teaser so the Unknown got to him first. A fight ensued between the two killers with neither of them dying to the other's attacks, as Unknown continues regenerating for a nother assault Jason is taken by the Entity who lured him into the realm using poor Zarinna

3. The Unknown completely regenerates ready for round 2 only to find that the wird hockey mask guy is gone, so it simply continues killing people around Greenville which leads it to stalk Olivia and become kidnapped by the Entity

The Entity: Whats in the Booooox?!

Hellraiser: This MFer

😭❤💪

24:00 Yea its weird that Pyramid Head released with Heather/Cheryl as survivor and with Midwitch map.
On the other hand i find it neat that they implemented something from each game in the first trilogy. If i am not wrong, this is the only time a chapter represented multiple tittles of the game franchise.
I see it as a massive win for Silent Hill fans.

dracula in dbd is basically a God, or the puppet of an entity of similar or greater power to the Entity from dbd named Chaos. Not a typical vampire. he has control over the weather, the flow of time, acess to things like the book of fate etc. he enslaved entire pagan pantheons he reincarnated around 40 times. He's the ruler of his own "fog-like" dimensions (yes multiple) which are hell, the chaos realm, and the abyss (the abyss may be similar to the void from dbd). Very few things can kill him. the most effectiv method is a belmont(basically a christian anime protagonist) with the vampire slayer whip (a belmont family heirloom made with the soul of Leon Belmonts murdered beloved, specifically created to kill vampire lords).

heres some cool stuff dracula did: gained the power of dominance which makes all beings with wicked souls/hearts obey him,  parts of his corpse accidentally created a mirror universe, cursed the entire land of romania post death so that it would be ravaged by the armies of hell every night, summoned blood rain/blood hurricanes, created a demonic nuke, etc.

his castle is pretty cool too, its basically both his soul/a portal to the chaos realm that manifests whenever and wherever he is given life again. Contrary to what people think, its not really a gift for it to be in the realm. its a part of him. like an arm or a leg.

Leon as a survivor is funny that guy could solo every single killer the game

I wouldn't mind the lore of the survivors too. (Edit: 9:05 The Red Forest is actually located in Ukraine and surrounds the area of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant)

32:50 i agree, however i think its basically  impossible to have better anti cheat till the engine is updated. And until it stops making them money, they have no reason to 1) make the game ftp and 2) update the engine (and by extension the anti cheat.)

It probably would make them more money in the long term, but shareholders only really care about shortterm profits in that regard.
