This is the song that a lot of us discovered SOAD with. JUST SUGAR!!

SOAD.... have always been ahead of their time. The subject matter of most of their songs, are eerily still accurate.

Proud Armenian here :) SOAD is known by ALL ARMENIANS. 😁

This is my generation of music and I agree.  I love 70s and 80s, but the 90s and 00s produced some of the best videos and artistic songs

SOAD - Prison song is so wild lyrically. They have always been so ahead of their time.

You ain't tripping. SOAD is once in a lifetime art we got to experience, and to be honest, we didn't appreciate them enough back then. At least I didn't, even as a fan. Their stuff I understand so much deeper as an adult, the hogh class unique music and his opera trained voice, the Armenian folk integrations, but his lyrics!!!

You might enjoy a video by Musora where twins (Fionn) cover Toxicity on the spot. It's soooo good and shows how their folk integrations can relate to other folk music, how solid and exciting their musical writing is.

Im a black dude in Louisiana, it’s crazy to see 20 years later people understanding the greatness of this music

S.O.A.D. REALLY SHOOK UP THE MUSIC SCENE IN THE LATE 90'S ...ONE OF THE ALL-TIME GREAT BANDS ... ANY GENRE !

Do yourself a service and listen the entire album

5:40 not the best time to stop the video my man😂😂

You've got to keep exploring System of a Down. From Prison Song to Deer Dance to Soldier Side to Attack to Boom, and more, SOAD has pushed the envelope and challenged the Establishment since the 90s. That, and the fact that Serj's voice is completely unique, is why they're my favorite band 23 years after I first heard them.

Nah you arent wrong, SOAD is Goated, 33 year old metal head checking in. Their entire discography is worth a spin.

The intro says "Good evening, Im Erick Aloss"

= "America Lost"

Serg released an album of his own and did an Opera. Check out His song "Empty Walls!!!!!"

Most insanely awesome lyric:
“You know that every time I try to go
Where I really wanna be
It's already where I am
'Cause I'm already there”

Like Mary Poppins.....just a teaspoon of sugar helps the medicine go down........

One of my best memories....driving to town with my 5yo son and 4yo twin daughters listening to this song and all 3 of them in unison singing "SUGAR!".....proud dad moment right there.

SOAD is an incredible band!! I saw them live in 2002 at Ozzfest, and they are evert bit as good live as on the album. They are outstanding performers!! Songs to check out: Aerials, Chop Suey!, Toxicity, and Psycho. 🤘Rock on, Kelly 🤘

You gotta do Spiders and Question! on the channel my man, some real serious artistry on those tracks. These guys are full of diverse sounds

One of the older folks. 100% agree. These dudes and rage against the machine are up with the greatest bands of all time
